1️⃣ When renovating the old Langham Hotel in London, workers discovered that the hotel's earliest wallpaper was pink. Since then, pink has become the exclusive color of Langham.
2️⃣ When browsing photos, I found that I missed Langham, but in fact, compared to Park Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental, and Andaz, my favorite hotel in Shenzhen is actually The Langham Shenzhen. It may also be because I have grown to like staying in well-maintained old hotels over the years.
3️⃣ Langham actually feels very low-key in various places. This one in Shenzhen opened in 2018 and is located in Xiangmihu, a place in Shenzhen with a strong sense of life and a good natural environment. It connects Nanshan and Futian, making it a convenient location.
4️⃣ 6 years is not considered old, but after all, 5 years is a hurdle for hotel hardware and facilities. The rooms are well-maintained, and the aesthetics are even better than the public areas. The lighting, furniture, and murals all match the overall aesthetics of the interior. The lighting design does not cut corners to save costs, with functional lighting as well as soft ambient wall lights and floor lamps suitable for the night.
5️⃣ The English afternoon tea at the hotel lobby lounge is considered relatively "authentic" among all hotels in Shenzhen, and the scones are highly recommended. The SPA environment is very healing.

Going home~
Had our last full English Breakfast at the Langham Hotel. Breakfast is rich in variety and of high quality! Buffet plus hot dishes from the menu. £48 per person, coffee and bottled water extra. Total cost for 2 people was £120. A bit expensive but delicious
The coffee is also one of the best among many hotels! Fragrant~The egg yolk is orange-red and nutritious~
The hotel room and service were both good. Although the room is carpeted, it is kept very clean, without feeling old or smelly. The facilities are also at the level expected of a five-star hotel. It is not modern enough and still maintains the unique century-old architectural style of London. Personally, I think the comfort level can be rated 8.5 points!

The afternoon tea at the Langham truly lives up to its reputation! The service was excellent, and the staff was very attentive. The pianist who played during the afternoon tea session was fantastic—flawless performance!
The Langham offers a great selection of teas. We tried two signature blends along with a floral tea, and you can switch teas as often as you like.
The sandwiches were delicate and delicious, with the smoked salmon one being particularly memorable—it had a cool, refreshing taste that was simply irresistible!
The scones were quite good, especially with their high-quality cream.
As for desserts, the strawberry puff pastry was my absolute favorite. The puff pastry melted in your mouth without being crunchy, and the chocolate flavors were also quite nice.
They even provided a whole box of chocolate cake-like treats, and anything you couldn’t finish could be packed up to take home.
Having afternoon tea here is truly an enjoyable experience!

Mimosa is a new Italian restaurant at The Langham, London. I had been eager to try it since I heard about it, and last weekend, I went for a little break with friends. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing.
Beef Tartare: It was very delicious. The basil at the bottom nicely balanced the flavour of the meat, and it was perfect when paired with the bread crackers.
Burrata: Served in a cute little dish, the cheese had a strong milky flavour but wasn’t overwhelming, making it very refreshing.
Burnt Leek "Mimosa" Style: This dish was quite unique. It was a large leek cut into sections, lightly roasted on the surface to give a subtle charred flavour, combined with the sweetness of the leek and the salty taste of marinated tuna. The multiple layers of flavours were very well balanced.
The cocktails were also quite good. I liked the Treacle, which had a strong apple juice flavour!
