Initially, I was going to skip the Golden Tower Poplar Forest because it's man-made. Luckily, my flight got canceled, giving me an extra day to visit. It turned out to be stunningly beautiful. This part is a wild poplar forest, so the trees are older, more scattered, but still quite dense. It feels completely different from the Ejin Banner Poplar Forest.
