Namdo Travel Guide~!
This is a travel guide connecting Gwangju Metropolitan City and Damyang Changpyeong in the Gwangju-Jeonnam region.
First, we have Mudeungsan National Park. During the summer, the valleys are temporarily open to the public. Enjoy the cool streams while savoring Mudeungsan watermelon!
Next, about 20 minutes from Mudeungsan National Park, you'll find Soswaewon, a scenic spot. It was a gathering place for scholars during the Joseon Dynasty and is surrounded by beautiful nature.
Nearby, around Gwangju Dam, there is an education training center and an ecological park, making it a great place for leisurely walks and sightseeing.
From Soswaewon to Changpyeong, it takes about 15 minutes. Here, you'll find a Slow City with the motto "Slower, Even Slower." It feels like stepping back in time to the Joseon Dynasty, as if Soswaewon seamlessly connects to the village.
This concludes the Namdo Travel Guide. Come visit Namdo~! Thank you.
