Private, secluded and truly spectacular. Hidden away on the west coast of Sumba island with private villas and everything else you can think of, including swimming with horses, it is understandable that the resort it rated this high. But we had an average experience. Overall waiting service (excluding our own personal butler) was not great and food qaulity lacked the high end 5 star standards. It is very pricy for what you get if you consider what you can get for the same price at other high end Indonesian island resorts. However, being so secluded and private probably comes with its own premium and I think that is for what you pay at the end of the day. During my stay, I used motorbike taxi to transport myself among places. I went to souvenirs store and bought some stuff. They have typical kind of traditional fabric which is dominated by goldish colors.

Khara Coffee Shop, just outside Mataram in Lombok, was a charming stop on my journey. The cozy atmosphere, surrounded by greenery, made it a perfect place to relax. Their coffee was rich and flavorful, brewed from local beans, and the homemade pastries were a delightful treat. The friendly staff and peaceful setting added to the experience.
