The scenery around Jinji Lake in Suzhou is truly amazing. You can start at Suzhou Times Square where you can find stunning modern views of the city. If you want you can also take the ferris wheel to see the lake from above! After walking around the ferris wheel you can go right of it to take a long walk along the lake. You will find European style looking restaurants along the way which looked very cosy. They play live music and the food looked very nice as well. After walking for a while you will eventually reach Dongfangzhimen which is the main city center of Suzhou! Have fun! #suzhou

#chinatrip We took about 27mins of train to travel from slightly out of city towards city center just to arrive to this place. Surprisingly, there was not many people around and probably people are mostly inside the big shopping mall around this building. We notice those that visited this place are mostly kneel down and pointing their camera upwards just to capture this beauty all in one picture. I would say it is worth it though looks weird for kneeling down around the street. Psst! If you wish to see this building from a far, I would suggest you to go to Picturesque just about 15-20mins train away from this place!

We were supposed to come here for sunset view, unfortunately we missed the golden time 🥲 However, we continue to stay here for the skyline from bright turn into dark, another level of enjoyment! There were not many people around this area probably there are other viewing point. Personally recommend to this place to view the 3 musketeer from afar 😆

A Cantonese restaurant on the 6th floor of the South Tower of the Gate of the Orient, a landmark in Suzhou. The view was amazing, and I could see Jinji Lake and the IFS on the opposite bank. You can also see the fountain show on Jinji Lake at night. Most of the seats have a lake view, which is nice. The view was great, and the food was delicious, so I was very satisfied! Everything was delicious! Right in front of the Gate of the Orient building is this really big park which nearly wraps around the entire west side of the Jinji lake. it is this water front park where you see so many people and locals and tourists, coming to enjoy the beautiful sights. From this location you can get a clear view of the other side of the lake which is where the Times Square area is and the tallest building in Suzhou, the IFS tower is. Today was a really foggy day at the Gate of the Orient. the clouds covered the sun ⛅️ and it was a bit dark. but nevertheless it was still such a beautiful sight. Praise me! It’s my first time visiting Jinji Lake in Suzhou and I discovered this amazing photo spot for taking pictures with the Oriental Gate! Sitting on this platform, the proportion between people and the building is perfect (I used the rear camera for selfies). Plus, there’s a street lamp right next to it that directly lights up your face. The flowers and vintage food truck nearby add more layers to the scene! (The best part is, no matter how many tourists there are, they’re all blocked out.) 📷 I also took photos at several popular spots online, none of which are disappointing.
