Roasted "Dang Gui" Duck La Mian & Others
This is a great place for breakfast and lunch with lots of yummy food, just next to Clementi Mall. This time, we tried the Roasted "Dang Gui" Duck Noodles from Unicuz Chinese Cuisine and Koka Noodle Soup from Ban Mian Fish Soup. The portions were big and the food was delicious. The soup was tasty and sweet. There are other popular stalls like Ann Chin Popiah and Chinatown Porridge, but they always have long lines.

A wide variety of food can be found at Boleh-Boleh. This halal-certified eatery has everything for everyone. I enjoyed the Ayam Bakar set which cost less than $7. You have the option to choose either rice or Bee Hoon.
Another favourite of mine is the Dim Sim stall. I love their dumplings which reminds me of the one of at Din by Din Tai Fung in Johor!

Boleh Boleh @ Clementi Mall
I haven't been to Clementi Mall for a long time. I went there with my husband and children last Friday. . . Suddenly discovered the New World, and found this food shop on the second floor. The food sold is mainly Malaysian cuisine. . . The environment of the restaurant is very spacious, there are many places for diners to sit, the hygiene is good, and there are many food choices, including pasta, mixed rice, snacks, and desserts. . . There are many choices, and the price is popular, which is the average price! The restaurant is not hard to find. Take the subway on the East-West Line and get off at Clementi Station. The shopping mall is just next to the subway station. It is super convenient!

Should definitely try this Uncle Sam at Clementi Mall level 3 at Boleh Boleh. The shop is quite new. Lots of delicious variety to choose from. Try it!! 🤤😋

Sam Fruit Trading Pte Ltd
Sam Fruits first started as a durian wholesaler, bringing the beloved king of fruits and all of its varieties to Singaporeans. This outlet is conveniently located in Clementi market center, just next to Clementi MRT station. I like how their fruits were displayed and presented. Looking fresh, especially the Australia Avocado, Giant Jackfruit, and Durian. They have quite a number of outlets island wide. Sam Fruits offers fast 1-day or same-day delivery, and also a bi-weekly subscription plan for your favourite fruit boxes to be delivered to your doorsteps. Good for homeowners or caretakers of families looking for healthy living.

ABC Express Indian Muslim Food
The humble stall is located in Kopitiam Clementi. Even though there is no media attention yet they sell good affordable Indian food. I saw many people ordering their Roti Prata (SGD2.20 for two, minimum 2 pieces), so I gave it a try. It was so good! Crispy and fluffy, not oily at all, and the gravy was rich and flavourful. Watching the owners stretching the dough and frying Roti Prata is a real treat. Their Nasi Briyani and Indian Rojak look sooo delicious, especially the fried chicken and doughy fried fritters. I will definitely come back and try the rest of the dishes on the menu.

Ha-Jun Korean, Clementi Mall
Portion wise is good, taste average and not as authentic. Ambience is a food court alike, but with a nice view where you can see Clementi Primary School and some buildings from the window. I ordered Bibimbap, it came with a mini bowl of miso soup and two side dishes, kimchi and anchovies. The kimchi was too sour, and the anchovies were hard to chew. I quite like the Bibimbap though, inside got bulgogi chicken, a few vegetables and topped with a sunny side up fried egg. Okay for a quick fix of lunch or dinner.

Boleh Boleh! @ The Clementi Mall
"Boleh Boleh" is a sister brand of "Malaysia Boleh" which is popular for Halal Malaysia hawker food such as Chendol, Claypot Chicken Rice, Pan Mee, Char Kway Teow, Fried Oyster Omelette, KL Wanton Mee, Rojak and Popiah, Penang Prawn Noodle and Asam Laksa, Mee Rebus, Mee Siam and Lontong, Satay and even Western Food. I visited this place during Covid period while we are still not able to travel to our neighbouring country. Glad that Clementi Mall has brought Malaysian cuisine right to the doorsteps of people living in Clementi.
Overall there are many types of food choices. It is conveniently located next to Clementi MRT station. Do expect crowds during lunch hours, there could be a long queue for food.

Rating - Tried this outlet at Clementi and ordered the seafood army stew and bbq meat set. To be frank the seafood army stew broth was nothing to shout out about and was medicroe in taste. However the bbq meat platter set was saviour of the meal. Meat was well marinated and tasted gd after bbq. Fairly reasonably priced so would recommend if crave to eat bbq korean meat at a lower price than at restaurants(though quality wise still below par of restaurant). U get what you pay for I guess but nt too bad.#sg #food

A super useful place to run errands and especially to collect new passports. After applying for a new passport online, you can choose to collect at SingPost and save time. Also, do all your postal errands here including collecting missed letters or parcels. All the materials are available here to make sure you get your parcel sent out. You can also test the size of the available packaging materials before payment. It is a one-stop service for sending out parcels. For this Clementi branch, they are open everyday from 11am until 9pm, definitely convenient for everyone.

Yakiniku Like Clementi
Address: 3155 Commonwealth Ave W, #05-35/36/37, Singapore 129588
One of the must do for me is to eat bbq at affordable prices. Come try out their 2 persons Matsuri Festival deals, which includes 2 beers too. First, you have to scan their QR code to get a queue number. Then you enter and scan another QR code to order. Be patient and your food will be served to you. You can choose from all the sauces for your chosen grilled meat. You will have to grill the meat yourself and be careful of the flames. There is no extra charge for choosing the 300 grams of rice. I will recommend you to take their karubi which is boneless short rib. It is thinly sliced and great for bbq and goes well on its own or with rice. This bbq place is also great for a single diner. You have the entire stove to yourself.

Arts @ MRT - Clementi
#artshunting
Starting off Clementi MRT station as my first station for MRT Arts series. Clementi MRT is on East-West Line (EWL) and open back in the 1980s. During that time, most of the outdoor MRT stations are color-coded. You can identify easily based on its color. For Clementi MRT station, it is a nice blue color. Now it has transformed into an integrated shopping mall, bus interchange and even a vibrant HDB town. This station is crowded because of its location.
You can take the MRT and spend some time admiring their see through roof and with its blue background, you can take some nice photos too.

The Clementi Mall
Clementi Mall is a five-storey retail podium which includes two basements comprising a basement shopping level and an underground carpark. Directly linked to the MRT, Clementi Mall is also part of an integrated mixed-use development built by the HDB and besides the retail podium, it houses two blocks of residential blocks, the West Coast Town Council and a bus interchange on level one. The mall has 157 shops, and boasts anchor tenants such as FairPrice Finest, Popular Bookstore and Clementi Public Library. Clementi Mall is primarily a family-oriented mall with a strong F&B offering ranging from fastfood, quick takeaways, local delights to international cuisines.

Went to clementi mall to shop a bit and take a look at their food options. Lots of options available especially at the basement of the mall. There is also a supermarket for you to do grocery shopping here. I also saw a few bread stores like toast box and Proofer all of which are close to one another so you’ll be spoilt for choices! There’s also koi here for bubble tea lovers!

Affordable Food at Eighteen Chefs
I used to frequent Eighteen Chefs when I still hold the student card. The set meal which includes a drink and ice cream is so worth it. You can create your own baked rice.
Since I said goodbye to my student card, I don’t frequent it much. Recently, I thought I would it give it a chance. Ordered the Chicken Katsu with Japanese Curry and Teriyaki Salmon alongside onion rings. Completed one of the meals with set meal of ice lemon tea and soup of the day. Was surprised that now, it’s free flow for bath soup and drink!

My family and I had a delicious breakfast at Starbucks Clementi Mall. We were not really a huge fan of having Starbucks but recently they had delectable breakfast meals that felt really inviting. We tried the egg whole meal croissant which tasted really scrummy with hot chocolate. I would say that this is the perfect breakfast for anyone.

Vending Machine Massage Chairs
#mustdo
This is a payable massage chair service and I used it while waiting for my turn to enter Yakiniku Like at Clementi mall. These massage chairs are managed by iFresh and you can get them set up in the office too. Their massage chairs are sleek in design and in good conditions. I like the privacy when using these massage chairs. You can also call them vending machine massage chairs. However, you cannot sit on the massage chair without inserting money. The chairs will give up a beeping sound to alert you to inset money. There are also sanitising wipes for you to clean the massage chairs before and after use.
You can also find it at other shopping centres such as Golden Village at VivoCity. It is as cheap as $2 for a quick massage.

Clementi mall kopitiam game
Address: 3155 Commonwealth Ave W, Singapore 129588
This is an ongoing event until 14 August to celebrate National Day, Our Home Our Singapore. This kopitiam game consists of four stations showcasing Singapore Heritage located at four different locations inside the mall. You will have to locate the QR code and complete the game to redeem a prize. The exhibition is unique and showcase how Singapore looks back in the old times. You can even see the retro setup of kopitiam, the metal utensils used and even old rattan chairs. One special item will be the retro looking orange pay phone which uses 10 cents coins. Now, knowing that pay phones doesn’t exist anymore is kind of amusing. Everyone has a mobile phone now. A great place to show the children the kind of items used during their great/grand parents time.

Bring the children over to here and check out the exhibition on “The World of Heritage Conservation”. You will need to use the hand sanitizer and wear gloves before you can play with the interactive booths. The booths feature different steps in conservation. You can start with the painting conservation by using the tools provided to conduct an examination. Then proceed with the cleaning and restoration of the painting. Also learn about how to reattach different fragments together. Then move on to textile conservation. It is a fun booth to learn more about conservation. It is also the National Day week and there are many paintings on displayed done by the primary school students.

a green walk
A step out of the hustle and bustle of our tiny city and indulge in fresh air and greenery. I took a walk out to Clementi forest. It felt like I was out of Singapore and into one of the many Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's forest themed movie. The trek was definite muddy as mash potato after a few consecutive days of torrential rain, but the sights you get to see are definitely quite a thing to behold.
The Clementi Forest has a few must check out list to go through and visit.
- The Great train track tunnel
- Red Metal Beams
- The Forested railway
- The misty forest
