Koh Tacha
Koh Tachai, heaven on earth on the Andaman coast
My first trip to Koh Tachai, I must say that it was another impressive trip to the sea. Because the sky is beautiful, the sea is clear, and the sand is very white. If anyone loves the sea, I must say that you must not miss it.
Koh Tachai is a small island located at the northernmost part of Similan Islands National Park and is not far from Surin Islands. This island has beautiful coral reefs and is quite complete with bright red hard and soft corals. This island was first discovered by a man named Tachai, so the island was named after the discoverer, Koh Tachai. This island has been explored for a long time, but it was only recently under the jurisdiction of Similan Islands National Park and has only recently opened for tourists to admire its beauty. The time when Koh Tachai is at its most beautiful is from February to April. After that, Koh Tachai will be closed for 6 months to allow nature to recover.
The highlight that makes Koh Tachai a tourist attraction that everyone wants to travel to admire is the beach with fine, soft white sand that is about 700 meters long and the hiking to see the chicken crab, a freshwater crab that likes to live in streams. It has a bright red body and blue-black claws. When it croaks, it makes a sound similar to a chicken. It likes to go out to find food at night. It is also a coral reef diving spot that stretches parallel to the beach, another beautiful place in Thailand. We often say that we want to see Similan Island and Surin Island 20 years ago, how beautiful it would be, pure and without footprints, the whitest sandy beach, and crystal clear water that we can't believe our eyes. Here, "Koh Tachai" is an island that perfectly combines white sand and blue water like Similan Island with the abundance of coral reefs and a variety of fish like Surin Island. It is a wonderful island that combines the beauty of the best Similan and Surin National Parks together.
