#2024Travel Review Stayed at Hôtel & Apartments Kirchbühl in Grindelwald, Switzerland. Since we rented a car and drove ourselves, we chose this hotel with a remote location but a good view. From the balcony of the room, you can see the magnificent Eiger Peak, and the beautiful scenery is unobstructed! Hotel Kirchbuhl is a wooden building. It seems that all hotels in the Swiss mountains are in the shape of wooden houses, blending in with nature, which is quite dreamy. The interior of the house is also decorated with wood, which is very warm. There is also a self-operated restaurant, La Marmite, where we have breakfast, which is very rich and has a variety of cheeses. As for housing prices, prices in Switzerland are high and accommodation is really not cheap. The most basic double room of 6 pings with a balcony and breakfast included costs NT$10,000 per night for two people. However, a better superior double room or small suite only costs an additional 1,000 or 2,000 yuan. Whenever the place is surrounded by clouds and mist, it is full of fairy air, like a fairyland, extremely beautiful. The Swiss self-guided tour is approaching the Jungfrau. Since we will take the train up the mountain early in the morning, most people will choose to stay in #Interlaken or Grindelwald. In the end, we chose Grindelwald, which is closer to the Jungfrau. Although Interlaken's lake and mountain scenery is also nice, Grindelwald, surrounded by mountains and green land, feels more natural and simple. Especially when taking a walk in the mountains in the morning, there is a sense of seclusion, isolated from the world. Grindelwald has been voted as the most beautiful mountain town in the world. As it is a must-go place on the way to the Jungfraujoch, there are actually quite a few tourists. The white snow covering the mountains, combined with the natural landscape and colors, adds a special touch to this place. During my time at First, I made sure to buy a cup of Ovaltine and enjoy it while taking in the stunning mountain views, which was particularly delightful! One of the must-visit spots is the photo area with the Swiss flag, and there's also a viewing platform where you can take pictures with the First mountain in the background. The highlight was the Jungfrau coffee, served in a whimsical paper cup placed inside a mug adorned with mountain scenes, which I joyfully took home as a memento. With its cozy traditional decor, Kleine Scheidegg is a must-visit for anyone looking to eat like a local in this stunning region.

I took a train from Interlaken to Grindelwald, and I used my Swiss travel pass for all kind transportations around Switzerland , but some mountains excursions cable cars are not included and they gave 50% discount. Then buy cable car ticket at the station ( if you have Swiss travel pass , half price that will be 34 CHF ) and if you want to do other adventures, you can buy additional package at vending machine. For me , I just went up to Grindelwald first to see mount Eager up close and hike surrounding until i come back . The scenery was jaw dropping and you will never want to leave the place . Walking on it, you cross steep cliffs and rivers, and you can gaze at the Alps from different angles, overlooking the wonderful scenery of Switzerland. The mountain restaurant offers snacks and coffee; sit down and enjoy the view of the Eiger peak, which is incredibly beautiful. From the First viewpoint, it is a 50-minute hike to Lake Bachalpsee. The path is quite sunny, but the scenery is absolutely cinematic, and there are many cows.

This hotel... It really gave off a 'we're private!' vibe. It's very European, but it feels like you're on another planet. The jacuzzi was especially impressive. It's not that big, it's just big enough for three couples, but you can enjoy the jacuzzi while looking straight at the Grindelwald view... wow🏝 Oh, and there's a sauna, which is special! It's a nude sauna for both men and women. They asked if it was okay, and I thought, "Should I try it once?!?" but I wasn't confident🤣 The concerts below the hotel aren't a common sight every weekend, but it was a festival season! So I think it would be a good idea to check if there's a festival and make a reservation for Grindelwald. I was going to go out for dinner, but I ended up eating while listening to festival music and drinking a lot of food and beer I bought at COOP. 🏡Grindelwald is an important relay station for Swiss tourism. The train departing from here 🚞 goes to Jungfraujoch via Kleine Scheidegg 🏔️, making it a must-stop for most tourists. In order to make it easier to climb up in the morning, we stayed near the station. When we opened the window of the B&B, we could see the Eiger coming towards us. #thingstodo Beautiful cable car ride up the mountain. We went snowboarding at Grindelwald First. It was an incredible experience! I highly recommend checking out Grindelwald First, whether it is sightseeing or snow activities. You won't be disappointed This was such a cool experience!!! My husband is scared of heights but he was very brave and I don’t think he regrets doing it. It seems very safe and structurally sound, the bridge does sway as you go across it. The views are breathtaking here and if no one is around it is so quiet! I really enjoyed the experience and it ends up at the restaurant and the store which is cool, you can only go in one direction so if you want to do it again you can just loop around. They say the full loop takes about 20 mins and I think that’s about right. It doesn’t cost to do this when you get up to the first, so you can do it all you’d like! Amazing place to check out. You do need to spend about 85 swiss $ to get to the top but you can get there by hiking for free I think. Make sure you get tickets to the cart ride or any adventure ticket because they sell out fast and close early

#besttrip2023 In August, I flew from Kansai Airport to Vienna, Austria, via Taipei, and went to Geneva for three days of sightseeing. I stayed overnight and then took a train to my biggest destination, Grindelwald. Grindelwald itself is a small town, with mostly souvenir shops and restaurants. It's a base for sightseeing. On that day, I took a mountain train to Jungfraujoch. I reached the top around 3 o'clock, so it was empty, but as expected, there were a lot of clouds at that time and the view was not very visible. The next day, I took a ropeway from the city to go hiking in the morning. I chose the most common round trip course to the lake, but it was a little over an hour each way, and it was a bit tiring. But the weather was good and the view was great! The Eiger was also perfect. It will be a memory that will last a lifetime. Wear comfortable clothes, bring a drink, and go out in the morning. This week, I have been Switzerland to explore the stunning nature. I went to Grindelwald and Bern and Blausee. When I first look at Grindelwald, I can’t believe my eyes as the view was absolutely stunning and it impressed me a lot. After that, I went to Bern ‘s observation point to see the whole view of the city and admire different special building.
