However, be careful when walking because the road is quite narrow. It's definitely worth making a stop here!

The best part of this place is the beautiful coastline and clean lawns. Listening to the sound of waves and the voices of sea cats while feeling the sea breeze. For access, there are JR Hachinohe Line and buses, but they are infrequent, so I think the main way to get there is by car.

There is also a promenade that leads to Shirahama Beach, but the sandy beach here seems to have been set up as a promenade, so I found it quite difficult to walk. I walked from Shirahama Beach, but in the end I gave up on walking on the sand and instead walked along a kind of animal trail on the side of the road. Still, you can enjoy it quite a lot, as there are pampas grass fields and Hamahurugao blooming. Apparently it makes a noise when you walk on the beach, but I didn't notice it. The bus stop is near the Umineko Line Monument.

It is one of the best viewing spots on the Tanegawa coast, offering a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. It is open to the public on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from April to October. On the JR Hachinohe Line visible directly below, a group train called ''TOHOKU EMOTION" passed by. It's perfect timing. The train runs between Hachinohe Station and Kuji Station, allowing you to enjoy your meal while admiring the scenery.
