This time, we stayed at the Le Méridien Taichung with our child, and the overall experience was quite pleasant. Although it rained on the day of our visit, which disrupted many of our planned outdoor activities, it unexpectedly led to a different kind of experience. Upon entering the hotel lobby, we were greeted by a subtle fragrance and attentive staff, which made traveling with a child much less stressful. We didn’t have to worry about the small details after a tiring journey. The room was clean and bright, with a modern and minimalist design. While the view outside was rainy, it became an interesting observation game for our child, who leaned against the window watching raindrops fall one by one, keeping him entertained. The highlight of our stay was the Executive Lounge. Since it was raining heavily outside, we spent almost the entire afternoon in the lounge. The space was quiet and comfortable, with spacious and soft seating. Our child could play with toys or flip through picture books nearby, while my husband and I enjoyed snacks and drinks at ease. The staff were friendly and attentive, frequently replenishing hot tea and small bites, making us feel welcome even with a child in tow. For us, the Executive Lounge felt like a temporary haven, providing a cozy corner for the family to relax on a rainy day. In the evening, the lounge’s cocktail hour was an added bonus. The variety of exquisite snacks was delightful, allowing adults to enjoy a drink while children had suitable options like juice and cookies. The contrast between the rainy view outside and the warm indoor lighting created a particularly cozy atmosphere. Although our original family itinerary was disrupted by the rain, the presence of the Executive Lounge made the entire stay enjoyable and memorable. In summary, Le Méridien Taichung is an excellent choice for families with children. Even on rainy days, you can find a different kind of travel joy in its comfortable spaces.

The moment I stepped inside, I was immediately struck by its lightly luxurious gold décor, complemented by the ubiquitous bunny decorations. The entire space felt both elegant and playful. The elevator, in particular, boasted gold hands and Roman numerals, a truly stylish design, perfect for photo ops! Room Unboxing: It felt like a luxury home! The room was incredibly spacious! The bathroom, in particular, felt like its own private room. It featured double sinks, a separate toilet and shower, and a stunning chaise longue bathtub for a relaxing soak. The bed and bedding were a real plus; I couldn't get up from it and slept soundly through the night. It was truly a wonderful sleep! The in-room wine bar was also quite interesting. The wines were available for an additional fee, and the mineral water was hidden to the left of the bar. It took a while to find it, like searching for treasure! If you stay in a quad room, there's a small living room with a comfortable sofa for sitting or lying down, perfect for catching up with family and friends. Food & Surroundings: From breakfast to late-night snacks, everything's easily available! The hotel's breakfast is exquisite. While the selection isn't extensive, every dish is delicious, especially the cheese and ricotta, paired with apricots, which are incredibly unique. Of course, there are also fried foods, Taiwanese breakfast items, and breads that kids love, and the portions are generous, ensuring you'll definitely be full. The hotel's location is also fantastic. Downstairs is the Zhonghua Night Market, so you never have to worry about finding a place to eat in the evening! If you're looking for local snacks, it's just a short walk downstairs—super convenient. Thoughtful Service: The pre-check-in reminder was so helpful! Although the hotel doesn't have its own parking lot, the staff called the day before check-in to let us know and provide nearby parking options. This was a thoughtful and reassuring service. In summary, OKU HOTEL provides a very good experience, both in terms of facilities and services. I highly recommend staying here!

As soon as you step inside, a pleasant fragrance fills the air, making you feel relaxed. The interior decor is perfect for taking photos. The room environment is also very comfortable. What I care about the most—the hairdryer—has strong wind power, not the kind mounted on the wall that takes forever to dry. Hot water is available quickly. The only downside is the view outside the window while soaking in the bathtub. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.
