The State Library of South Australia is a cultural institution that combines a long history with modern design, located in the heart of Adelaide. Established in 1834, it is one of the oldest public libraries in Australia, aimed at promoting education and the dissemination of knowledge. During my visit to the library, I saw a teacher explaining the history of the State Library of South Australia to a group of university students. Upon entering the reading room, I realized that a library could be so beautiful, with a classical atmosphere and a rich collection of books, each with its own history, and visitors are welcome to browse through them. The library's architectural design is unique, with the main building completed in 1884, adopting a classical Victorian style. The exterior is mainly composed of red bricks and stones, showcasing a solemn and elegant temperament. The giant columns and exquisitely carved stairs at the entrance make one feel the weight of history and the richness of culture upon entering. The reading room inside the library is a major highlight, spacious and bright, with high ceilings and large windows that allow natural light to pour in, creating a comfortable reading environment. The design of the reading room combines modern and traditional elements, with comfortable chairs and tables providing a quiet space for readers to study. The fifth largest city in Australia and the capital of the state of South Australia, it is known as one of the most livable cities. Adelaide is known for its wines and a collection of places for business, natural environment and culture. Adelaide is conveniently accessible, so you can choose to take transportation if you don’t have a rental car. Don't miss the State Library when you come to Adelaide. The retro decoration is like being in the setting of the movie Harry Potter. Even if you don't like reading, you must come. If you want to taste the food, you can visit the German Village, which has many exotic cuisine restaurants. The German Village is beautifully scenic, and you can stay for a whole day by putting your foot down and taking a slow tour. #OverseasTravel

As a lesser-known travel destination, Adelaide offers a convenient city walk in its center without the worry of overcrowded tourists. Simply follow the direction of North Terrace, and you can cover most of Adelaide's attractions. Start your journey at the University of Adelaide, which boasts classical architecture and a long history. The campus is filled with green lawns, making it a pleasant place to explore. To the left of the university's entrance is the State Library, one of Australia's oldest libraries, featuring extensive collections and vintage reading rooms. Nearby are the South Australian Museum and Art Gallery, forming a cultural and artistic hub. Along North Terrace, you'll also find the Town Hall and Adelaide's Parliament House, both open to the public. However, note that the Town Hall is only accessible during specific times each year. One of the most historically significant sites is the Adelaide Railway Station, depicted in the first image. Inside, it exudes a museum-like atmosphere and houses various food stalls. Surprisingly, just a street away, there's a graffiti bridge with a completely different vibe. Day1️⃣:Central Market—South Australia Gallery/Library/Museum—Hallet Cove 🏛️ Have breakfast at Central Market, you must try the Mussel from Si sea😋, fresh and juicy; Cumbia is also delicious, especially the Crab pasta and honey squid🍝, but these two are only available for lunch after 12 o'clock😕. Picture 3 is the coffee bean shop in the market☕️, I had a special Greek coffee, it's amazing👌, the milk foam is delicate, the coffee is rich, the taste is just right, a very special flavor😍. After eating and drinking, go to the South Australia Gallery🖼️, library📚 and museum🏛️. The Museum is boring😴, the Gallery is surprising and stunning😯, the famous 'Jealousy of Kalk' is hidden here, as well as the installation art of artists like Yayoi Kusama and Shiho Salt Field🎨, there is a special exhibition of Japan downstairs, picture 6 is more shocking to the naked eye😲. You can take the bus directly to Hallet Cove in the city, just search for the bus route on the map, dinner can be solved directly at the seaside restaurant, mediocre😋. Day 2️⃣:German Village—Carrick Hill 🏰 You can reach by round trip bus, you can take the bus back to the city from the German village, and then take a taxi to Carrick Hill🚕. Have lunch at The haus🍴, this place has better taste and presentation. (The big pork knuckle actually tastes average, it will be greasy and tiring to eat later, and don't buy souvenirs in the German village❗️The prices here are very expensive, and there are no very special souvenirs.) Carrick Hill's business hours are from 10:00 to 16:30 from Wednesday to Sunday, remember to leave enough time for the visit😉. Day3️⃣:Victor Harbor 🌊 We chose a day trip to Victor Harbor🚌, it is recommended to directly search for Victor Harbor Day trip, and then choose a cheap one. We met a very good local lady, she will tell us a lot of Adelaide's history and fun facts along the way👍. After arriving at Victor Harbor, it is better to buy a one-way horse carriage ticket🐴, so you can take the horse carriage to the island, and then walk back. We had seafood pizza at Nino's🍕, I personally think it tastes very good, my friend and I ate a whole pizza in one go😋. Day4️⃣:Penfolds Winery—Pink Lake 🍷 Bought a Chinese-led day trip on 🍑, the leader sister is very nice, but Penfolds Winery is boring😴. Pink Lake is not in season now, it's better to go in September and October👍, the penultimate picture is the pinkest one we saw in the lake, and we can't stop, the last one is the current situation of the Pink (White) Lake without filter, many Pink Lake photos on xhs are color-adjusted📸. Overall, the four-day car-free tour of Adelaide is very worth a visit, with urban culture, gourmet sea views, historical buildings, and beautiful coastlines and natural scenery🌅.

The State Library of South Australia is an amazing library that is pretty big and aesthetically appealing. There is a lot of study areas around the library and it has a lot of different departments.📚 The library is open every day.
