Starfield Library Suwon (also referred as Byeolmadang Library in Korean) is probably the most famous attraction and photo hot spot of Starfield Suwon shopping mall complex. Admission to Starfield Library Suwon is free and anyone can enter the library. What is so special about Starfield Library Suwon? Starfield Library Suwon is the second Starfield Library, following the success of Starfield Library at COEX Mall in Seoul. While Starfield Library Seoul is spread across 2 floors with 13m high bookshelves, Starfield Library Suwon surpasses its predecessor in size, spanning 4 floors (4th to 7th floor) with maximum bookshelves height of 22m! There is also a Starfield Library Kids that is not available at the COEX Mall branch too.

#traveldiaries There is a huge library cum bookstore at COEX Starfield Mall, and this library is the symbolic landmark of the mall. Located at the centre of the mall, you can go to everywhere direction from the library. There are various books and magazines available, and you can also take your own book to read there. This has become the photospot for every visitors visiting here. I personally like this library at night time as the crowd is much lesser, and the lights are dimmer and give us a more soothing feeling. The ambience is more suitable for reading at night as well, and the best thing is the photo looks less crowded at night.

Free entrance, nice view for people to take picture here. Reaching here easily by bus. We should come on weekday because it is not too crowded. From here you can visit Corex mall as well, just walking distance. Inside mall, there are many restaurants for you to try the Korean foods. It is located in the center of COEX Mall, can be reach by metro to Samseong station (Line 2) and Bongeunsa station (Line 9). It is open daily from 1000-2200. With more than 50000 books ranging from literature to hobbies, as well as many types of magazines. The two storey library has instagrammable 13 meters tall bookshelves and soft lights to ease the eyes as well as various types of tables and seating spaces with electric plugs for those who need it. You will notice here that some people are just sitting and waiting, or meeting with someone. Or take a drink at the Japanese coffee chain % Arabica (1st store in South Korea).

One of a must place to look out for when you are in Seoul is Starfield library in Seoul . Centrally located in downtown Seoul and easily accessible by metro or buses from everywhere of the city. Just inside shopping mall and a beautiful cafe to enjoy while you are reading . Very beautiful architecture as well as very attractive to all the travellers whoever come to South Korea. There are a lot of books on the bookshelves, but all in the Korean language. There are quite a lot of people walking around the library, with some reading at the nearby tables, while some others are taking photos of their family/friends around the library. The environment and ambience is quite relaxing and a perfect place to chill, relax and read some books. There are also some cafes nearby for those who are looking at having some drinks. Will recommend a visit if you are around the area.

Welcome %Arabica to Seoul and I love this outlet at Starfiled library. In Seoul, there is an oversupply of cafes and coffee is like a staple in everybody's daily affairs. I also notice the locals prefer americano which is “kopi-o” in our culture. But for me, I will choose speciality coffee to try out the differences and seasonal coffee and drinks too. You will be able to locate this branch easily. It is right at Starfield library. If you are like me, you can also try out blue bottle cafe which I will share with you later in my trip moment. This is a trending location for photospot and it is free entry. It is in fact a real library and anyone can enter for free, read the books for free and take as many photos and videos too. Their bookshelves are massive and this is the attraction at Starfield library. You also can study here without getting chased away by the security. Also if you look around, many items are left unattended such as laptops and bags. Strangely, these items are never stolen or went missing.
