📍Basel 🇨🇭 Carnival of Basel made me feel the enthusiasm of Swiss people. From the moment I stepped out of the train station and walked slowly towards the city center, I could already hear the lively crowd of the parade and the sound of various musical instruments. The most interesting part was the paper scraps dropping on each other. Whether adults or children, they would keep dropping paper scraps on you, catching you off guard. As compensation, they would give us candy or a small gadget. The only pity is that all the tourist attractions, such as the church museum, were not open that day. I visited Hotel Märthof Basel during February 2023 together with my sister, and I can say for sure that we will definitely come back! It’s a relatively new high-end hotel in Basel, a perfect choice for your accommodation. I was first of all impressed by the service, as the staff were always kind, smiling and willing to help. Next is the interior design! The common areas were covered in black and gold colours and relaxed atmosphere. We stayed at the Marktplatz Suite which was huge with a really comfortable bed and a super aesthetic bathtub. The whole suite was beautifully decorated and offered an amazing view to the Marktplatz square. The breakfast included a great selection of everything we could ask for and the quality was excellent. As mentioned above, I will go to Switzerland to visit my friends for two weeks, than taking a plane to check-in early security check, and then both sides of the airport to get back to the city is not convenient, taking the train is a good option. Gare de Lyon is an important transportation hub in Paris, the railway crosses different countries and places, it is super busy, the 11:30 train, about five minutes ago saw the platform location on the screen, hurriedly said other family to enter the gate. The train from Paris to Basel, three and a half hours, someone checked tickets on the way; the carriage has two floors, I sit on the level luggage does not have to carry up and down, even face to face is still spacious. In the early years, I almost had my bag taken away on the train once, so since then, every midway stop I have looked at my luggage alertly, and I was lucky enough to arrive at Basel Central Station without any surprises, and got through more easily than I imagined. First time setting foot in Swiss territory, dragging two pieces of luggage thinking to take Uber, but a friend suggested taking the tram more convenient, was worried to go up and down can not drive, but found their car and footpath level is almost the same, before considering a sweep and empty, super courteous! #See the Earth in an instant

You can find many flower trees here. Surprisingly, you can even see cherry blossoms in Switzerland! In addition, the city square has a fresh flower market every weekend, displaying flowers grown by different local farmers.
