Museums
One of the world's great open-air museums, the St Fagans Natural History Museum is located in a beautiful 400-year-old estate on the outskirts of Cardiff. The theme of the museum to visitors is the life, work and leisure of the Welsh people, and the staff communicate in Welsh on a daily basis. St Fagans has more than 40 original buildings, built brick by brick from different parts of Wales, including a row of blacksmiths, farmhouses, a classroom and a medieval church. In the workshop of the museum, craftsmen such as blacksmiths and clog craftsmen perform their crafts every day, and a large number of rural animals also live leisurely in the fields of the museum. Indoor showrooms display Welsh clothing and agricultural tools. There is also a hands-on exhibition room, allowing visitors to experience first-hand the life of the Welsh people.
