Sri Dit Waterfall Address:
Nong Mae Na, Khao Kho District, Phetchabun 67270, Thailand
Sri Dit Waterfall, Khao Kho, Phetchabun
Sri Dit Waterfall, one of the 5 waterfalls on Khao Kho
It is a large tiered waterfall with water flowing all year round.
It is located in Khao Kho District. It was named in honor of those who sacrificed in this area and used to be the home of the “Communist founders”.
An interesting thing is the waterfall-powered rice mortar that the CPT built.
So coming here makes me feel lucky that this place still exists.
Because there was a lot of fighting before.
The entrance is beautiful, easy to walk, and there are some things to buy along the way.
Most of them are closed down, probably because there are fewer tourists.
The waterfall is beautiful, especially the cliff where the water falls down, which looks like a beautiful widow. You can’t swim in the water because it is quite dangerous due to the steepness between the tiers of the waterfall.
• Parking fee is 60 baht for cars.
The entrance fee for Thais is 30 baht per person.

🏞Sri Dit Waterfall is fed by a stream from Khao Kho, flowing over a large rock layer, 30 meters high and 50 meters wide, creating a single-tiered waterfall that flows year-round and serves as the source of the Khek River.
🏞The waterfall is named in memory of Sergeant Major Praphot Sri Dit, who sacrificed his life fighting communist insurgents in this battlefield.
🙏🏽Many other soldiers also sacrificed their lives here, with their names inscribed at the entrance of the waterfall along with the motto 'Better to die than to let the nation perish.'
🌲In the past, this area was a living site for the communist insurgents, with various artifacts and tools found around the waterfall, such as shelters and a rice mortar powered by the waterfall's mechanism.
🏠There is also a pavilion where King Rama IX, Queen Sirikit, and King Rama X planted pine trees.
