📍Travel introduction I went to Sokcho and stayed at a hotel with a Ferris wheel view that is hard to experience in Korea. But the bus was really congested so it took 6 hours. And this time we chose to go to Sokcho, Gangwon, South Korea 🇰🇷🌊 A small city with few people, 50 km from North Korea. . . We went in October, which was Sokcho.. It rained, was windy, and was cold. It makes us fall in love in a strange way. . . 🚌 Travel When we arrived in Korea, we bought a bus ticket from Incheon Airport to Sokcho. It took about 3 hours +-. When we arrived, we took a taxi to the accommodation. Why a taxi? Because it's a small city, there are very few cars, and so are the buses. We stayed for 8 days and saw them pass by 4 times. Some days we didn't see any buses at all. So most of the time when we went to eat or shop, we chose to walk. 🚶‍♀️ But if it's really far and our legs are tired, we took a taxi. 🚕 🏢 There are a fair number of accommodations there, including large hotels, small hotels, and houses. The chewy texture of the freshly grilled clams and the flavor full of the scent of the sea were superb, and it went perfectly with a glass of soju. You can buy a ticket at the bus terminal for around 20,000 - 27,000 won, depending on the type of discount, and the journey takes just over 2 hours. It's a good idea to stay for two days and one night, or three days and two nights. Sokcho is close to Gangneung and Yangyang, so you can visit those two provinces as well. There are plenty of accommodations and hotels near the beach, so you can easily walk from your lodging to the sea. It's very convenient and the atmosphere is great.
