📍 Sokcho Beach 🗺️ Gangwon Sokcho-si Joyang-dong ✔️ Beach open in July-August / Free public parking I visited Sokcho several times this summer for my summer vacation! Every time I went, the cool blue sea and cool waves made me feel like the heat was gone 〰️🤤 Please note that there were times when you couldn't get in due to frequent swells! There were times when you couldn't get in at all because of the fence, and times when you could only dip your feet under the control of the safety guard! I chose this place because I was looking for a cost-effective accommodation on a Friday evening. It is a place where you can walk along the beach late at night after arriving at the accommodation. As expected, it is clean because it is new. It is a wooden floor instead of carpet, so it feels cozy and I liked the cleanliness. However, the room was a bit small. These days, all the accommodations are small officetel style. This place is no different. The hotel itself is on a low floor, so the ocean is not completely visible, and you can see more pine trees. I think the pine trees are mainly visible on the low floors. But it is not a problem because the ocean is right in front.
