#langkawitrip First there was The Fat Frog, now Smiling Buffalo? Langkawi is not short of nice cafes with quirky name 7 this cafe ranked highly in my to-visit list due to its high rating in Google, and it looked absolutely serene and beautiful in social media. This restaurant is incredible, staff are super friendly and the food is amazing. We visited 3 times, the matcha frappe was brilliant, the mushroom dumplings another standout, but l was blown away by the tiramisu cake. I'll be dreaming about it.

This charming café is almost hidden on an isolated road in Langkawi Island but so worth the visit. It’s a 10minute drive from Cenang beach. There are several seating options in the garden or just under the rooftop. They are quite busy during brunch hours so make sure to book in advance. The food options are both local and Western. A hidden jem of a place, The Smiling Buffalo is an eating place with a difference. Located behind Telaga Walk, in Chenang Beach area, this restaurant cafe serves International and Asian fusion menu. Presentation of the food is insta worthy and delicious with different ingredients and colours combinations. The aspect of this restaurant which I enjoy the most is the ambiance. Surrounded with large trees and rustic timber buildings that enhance its ‘Malay Village’ vibes. We had breakfast here and the ‘big breakfast’ potions are really big. The service are friendly and the prices are reasonable for Langkawi standard. Highly recommended!#deliciousfood #foodie

Once you arrived in Langkawi, this cafe is just a 10-15 minutes distance from the airport. Simply google maps or waze the location will solve you problems to be here. As for me this cafe is more that just a cafe. The ambience and the serenity is to die for ! You can either have a nice casual-fun breakfast/lunch here as well as this cafe is suitable if you wanted to have a casual meetings with clients too. Okay letme talk about the food now. You can have a western food or asian food here. The food and the presentation is nice. You can always try the tomato poached eggs here, so so so good ! Just imagine enjoying your cup of coffee, with your french toast while the wind blows slowly, the bird chirping, its just so nice ! It complete your dream getaway here ❤️

The place is really beautiful, an old wooden house with great decor and a large and tasty menu. I had the potato and beef eggs Benedict with a side of toast, and the chia seeds bowl. We also had a latte, though coffee in on the pricier end. Both were good and satisfying. Would recommend if you're in the area looking for a comfortable and quiet place for coffee or food.

The highlight was the live music from talented busking musicians who added a wonderful touch to the dining experience. Their performances were engaging and created a charming ambiance that perfectly complemented the delicious food. The menu offered a great selection of cafe latte (best coffe in town) & great taste of variety cake, and the service was attentive and friendly. Overall, is a gem with a unique vibe, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with live music.
