Many travel guides say that Little Red Cliff is a great place to watch the sunset. I think the color of the rocky cliffs will be even more beautiful when illuminated by the setting sun! It was cloudy on the day we visited Xiandu, so we didn't wait for the sunset. After visiting Yandang Study and Dufeng Academy, we went straight to Little Red Cliff. Dragon Plowing Road is a natural plank road that stretches across the steep cliffs of Little Red Cliff, tens of meters above the ground and hundreds of meters long. The plank road is two to three meters high, three meters wide at its widest point, and one meter at its narrowest point. People climb up from the stone steps carved by ancient people at Tiger Trace Rock, then walk slowly along the plank road. The danger is extreme, and the fun is endless.

From a distance, it looks very much like the Red Cliffs of the Yangtze River, hence it is called the "Little Red Cliff". The "Little Red Cliff" is about 600 meters long in the east-west direction and about 60 meters high. Every tourist who has visited the "Little Red Cliff" has been impressed by the natural wonder of Mother Nature's craftsmanship. Although the "Little Red Cliff" is very close to the entrance of the "Xiandu Scenic Area", most tourists usually head straight for the core area's "Dinghu Peak" and "Zhutan Mountain", and the "Little Red Cliff" is often easily overlooked

The Xiao Chibi Scenic Area is truly a beautiful landscape area, and it must be said that in ancient times it was also known as Baiyan. On one side of the stream, there is a sheer cliff, with the cliff faces alternating between ochre and white, looking from a distance like they have been scorched by flames, very much resembling the Chibi (Red Cliffs) of the Yangtze River. The path is definitely not meant for anyone who is tall!! Great views overlooking the river. The big belly rock is truly HUGE and looks like a protruding tummy! No entrance fee which is great.
