Bali Beyond the Crowds: Hidden Gems of the Island
#indonesiatrip
Exploring Bali beyond its popular spots was an unforgettable experience. In North Bali, I wandered through the serene rice paddies of Sambangan, where the morning mist painted a dreamy landscape. The Panji Hills rice terraces were equally breathtaking, with rolling green fields stretching endlessly under the golden sun. At Beringkat Waterfalls in Gitgit Village, I was surrounded by lush jungle and the soothing sound of cascading water—a perfect spot to connect with nature.
One of the most peaceful moments was watching the sunrise at Sindhu Beach, where gentle waves and soft hues created a magical start to the day. I also visited the salt farms near Menjangan, where traditional methods of harvesting salt offered a glimpse into Bali’s rich culture. Away from the bustling tourist areas, these places revealed Bali’s raw beauty and authenticity, making my journey truly special. If you crave tranquility and adventure, North Bali is a must-explore!

Getting Th
Getting There - Easily accessible by transport. Grab and Gojek is available in Bali so you may get there via ride hailing apps!
Attractions - Simple beach that has more locals rather than tourists. View is okay.
Hotels - Several villas nearby, will be convenient to visit if your villa is right beside the beach!
Food & Restaurants - Many beach clubs, restaurants, bars and eateries around. Mainly western food for tourists. Some local delicacies too.
Shopping - Mini shopping street there. Didn't visit as it didn't seem attractive, just those "I love Bali" keychains and tshirts. Nothing interesting.
