Our family of three is pretty lazy, so we love short trips around the Yangtze River Delta ❤️. It's just over an hour's drive from Shanghai to Yangcheng Lake 🚗, so we booked a hotel and set off without a second thought ☝! Of course, when traveling with kids, the hotel must have a children's play area 🎪, which is a must for me as a family blogger 🤔. I love relaxing while the kids play! I was so satisfied with this hotel 😘! It's not one of those popular family hotels that's always crowded, but the family facilities are great - there are 3⃣ kids' play areas‼️ And they're free‼️ Pic 3⃣: 🌈 A small, colorful play area, suitable for young children. Pics 4⃣-8⃣: A large, outdoor, space-themed play area 🛸. It has a complex climbing structure, as well as a sandpit and slides... Pics 9⃣-1⃣4⃣: A beautiful, Nordic-style indoor play area, with wooden play equipment and a huge white ball pit. 📝 Tips for parents: Bring your own sandpit toys 🏝 and non-slip socks 🧦... We booked a standard room instead of a family room, but the 2.7-meter bed 🛌 was big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. The address is No. 1, Hugang Road, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou. The hotel is large and has good greenery. It is suitable for vacations and experiencing a slow-paced life. Business is especially good in late autumn when hairy crabs are in season. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: The hotel has multiple buildings, including the Yuelou Building, Chenghu Building, and Youzhu Residence, with nearly 300 rooms. There are a variety of room types, and the rooms are spacious and all have balconies. Lake view rooms are especially popular. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The soundproofing and cleanliness are good. Although the hotel has been open for a few years, it is well maintained and there is no musty smell that is common in older hotels. 🏕️Nearby Attractions: The hotel itself is a large garden by the water. There are wooden walkways and paths along the lake, as well as a swimming pool and water play, horseback riding, and other activities. 💰️Average Cost: In terms of accommodation alone, the room rates are on the high side. You can stay in a better hotel in the city for the same price. Considering the environment, vacation, and scarcity, the price is acceptable for couples or family trips. There were 4 of us, and we stayed for 1 night on the weekend and had 2 meals (brought our own drinks). The average cost was about CNY 1,600 per person. 💗Other Tips: [One] Rooms are in high demand on weekends during the peak tourist season and crab season, so book in advance.
