#hongkongtrip Been waiting to visit this legendary Temple even seem I have watch TVB drama as it keen mentions this temple on different series. Finally now I have a chance to visit it . I Visited on Monday morning and it was quiet with few people. If you decided to buy incense sticks for praying, there are few elderly near MTR entrance selling those. Just politely say no if you do not wish to buy and they do not pursue. There are also few shops prior to the temple entrance. Like the atmosphere there. Love the architecture of the buildings and understand some structure has been almost 100 years There is a little garden, Good Wish Garden here and it was totally empty that morning. Was really nice to take a stroll at the garden. It is easy access from Wong Tai Sin MTR and signage are clear. Definitely worth a visit

It is around 220 meters 5 minutes walk from Wong Tai Sin Mrt station. Wong Tai Sin main altar was built in 1921, its architecture is in traditional Chinese temple style with grand red pillars, a magnificent golden roof. Some people are shaking a cylinder with sticks, it is a fortune telling practice that originated in China. There are numbers of fortune-telling stalls that can explain the meaning of the stick. It is an intriguing mix of temples and towers like the Grand Hall, Three Saints Hall, and many more. Walking around a peaceful garden that was opened to the public in 1991 with a long corridor that linked up pavilions, bridges, pagodas, rocks and ponds.
