It is known as the sacred lake where the "King of the Hundred Dragons" resides. The lake is sacred, with clear blue water. Every year on the 15th day of the sixth month of the Tibetan calendar, the Panchen Lama, Dalai Lama, and others come to worship and offer gold and silver treasures to repay the lake's blessings.
