I had the top-grade Hitsumabushi at Shirakawa Joshin Honten in Nishi-ku, Nagoya.
Nagoya's specialty, Hitsumabushi, is characterized by its crispy, fragrant exterior and plump eel texture inside, and I was able to fully enjoy its charms at this restaurant. 🥰
First, when I opened the box that was brought to me, I was greeted with a smile as it was filled with colorful eels. 🌟
When I took a bite, the aroma of the secret sauce and charcoal-grilled eel spread, and the eel melted in my mouth. I was surprised at how soft it was 🫢
The appeal of Hitsumabushi is that it can be enjoyed in three different ways 🍵
