The Sheraton Tung Chung is a lovely property in Tung Chung that's a great place to stay. You'll be a bit outside of the city but it's near the airport and has a shuttle service both to the former and to Tung Chung MTR station. The hotel is located in a quiet area and the rooms are therefore very calm. The rooms are modern and the ceilings are very high creating a very airy feeling. Everything inside felt very homey and comfortable. Most of the rooms also have some view of the sea, so it's very nice. There's also a very nice gym as well as a nice outdoor pool with a slight sea view. The staff were extremely friendly, professional and courteous. The Hotel is joined by a sister hotel, which is more affordable in price, Four Points by Sheraton Hong Kong, Tung Chung. The Hotel has a few restaurants; Cafe Lantau is an all-day dining and buffet restaurant, Yue is a modern Chinese restaurant, the Lobby Lounge is for high tea & evening cocktails and Sunset Grill is a rooftop restaurant and bar. Sunset Grill is exactly what this post is about and where you are seeing all the wonderful views from in my pictures! The views from Sunset Grill are wonderful, and certainly, somewhere you should go when the weather is good. Never mind the higher prices, you should go here at least once for a couple of lovely drinks whilst you enjoy the view. Sheraton & Four Points Tung Chung are located at 9 Yi Tung Road, Tung Chung, Lantau Island, N.T., Hong Kong. [Sheraton Sheraton Tung Chung Hotel - Transportation] It's finally my turn! I finally came to the #Sheraton Tung Chung Hotel, which opened in December last year! It has 218 rooms, which account for 200 regular room types (City View/Ocean View/Executive), 15 Executive/Superior Ocean View Suites, 2 Deluxe Ocean View Suites and 1 Sheraton Suite. The number of suites is so small 🙄 noble members believe that they may not be able to upgrade for free. do i have I’ll break it down next time😌 🚙Parking🅿️ It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from the MTR station to the hotel, which is quite sweet for a family; however, those who have driven to staycation have to think about it, because it is not quite cheap! Here’s information about some parking nearby 1. Hotel Valet Parking - $600/24 ​​hours; 2. There is a parking lot next to the hotel - $20/hour, but no all-day parking discount 3. About 10-15 minutes walking distance to Ying Tung Estate, $12/hour 4. [Hong Kong Tung Chung] 🌟 Dad's Birthday 🎂 We originally planned to have a buffet, but realized the night before that we hadn't paid 🫣🫣🫣 So we spontaneously booked 'Yue' at Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung Hotel for some Chinese cuisine 🥢 I remember the first time we came, Dad wasn't with us, and everyone said it was delicious and that we should bring him next time. So, we took this opportunity to fulfill that promise 😆 This time, we mainly came to encore the dishes we enjoyed last time, such as: Crab Shell 🦀, Char Siu, and Truffle Stuffed Fish Maw. Each dish maintained its high standard! If it's your first time here, you must try them! Mom has an amazing memory 🤩 She even remembered that the table next to us last time ordered 'Lantern Shadow Lotus Root Slices' which looked very tempting 😂! 'Lantern Shadow Lotus Root Slices' are thinly sliced and air-dried lotus roots, each slice is evenly thick, showcasing excellent knife skills! The crispy lotus root slices are coated with sweet honey 🍯 and have a tantalizing peppery aroma, creating a layered flavor. The expansive space, stylishly decorated with modern elegance, offered breathtaking views of the South China Sea. The suite's separate living area, dining room, and spacious bedroom ensured ultimate comfort. Exceptional amenities, including a private balcony and luxurious bathtub, elevated my experience. Impeccable service from the staff and personalized butler service made me feel pampered. Located near Tung Chung MTR, this suite offers the perfect blend of luxury and convenience. We had a staycation in Hong Kong at the Sheraton Tung Chung, located in Tung Chung. There's a shuttle bus from Tung Chung MTR station (every 30 minutes). We missed the shuttle bus, so we took a taxi, which took about 5 minutes to reach the hotel. We stayed in an executive sea view room and arrived at the hotel around 7:10 PM. We checked in at the Club Lounge on the first floor and enjoyed the evening cocktail. The food at the evening cocktail was pretty good, with shrimp, desserts, fruits, sushi, and drinks. We were quite full after eating! We initially planned to dine at the steakhouse on the top floor but ended up not going 🤣 After eating, we went to our room. As soon as we entered, we saw a beautiful night sea view. The room wasn't big but quite comfortable. Overall, the experience was pretty good! The hotel's gym is open 24 hours. We went to work out around 11 PM and were surprised to see quite a few people still working out! Everyone was very diligent 👍💪 Breakfast the next day was until 10:30 AM. Since the lounge food was good the previous day, I had high expectations for breakfast. However, it was just average and had room for improvement 💪 After breakfast, we went to the pool to sunbathe and swim. The pool here is perfect for sunbathing! We checked out around 3 PM. The whole experience was really great. The staff were very friendly, making it perfect for a staycation 😎

I recently visited the Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung Hotel, which is an impressive five-star establishment. The hotel is conveniently located near the MTR station, making it very accessible to Hong Kong International Airport and the border crossing points, with just a few minutes' drive to reach. The hotel has 218 guest rooms and suites, offering top-notch facilities and services. It features a seaside temperature-controlled swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, and several restaurants including the seaside grill, Chinese restaurant Cai Yue Xuan, afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge, and the Yi Fang buffet restaurant, providing a variety of gourmet experiences. As a friend of Tung Chung, I must support the restaurants in the area! This time, I went to the Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung Hotel to enjoy a very rich lunch banquet. The restaurant I visited is located on the 19th floor of the hotel, named Sunset Grill! It boasts an unbeatable beautiful sea view, and I believe the scenery will be even more wonderful at dusk. The interior decoration of the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere of a small tavern, complemented by an open kitchen, which feels really comfortable. I was so fortunate to taste the new menu of British Executive Chef David Parkin, featuring a variety of charcoal-grilled meats and fresh seafood from the signature coastal grill, creating many European creative dishes for me to enjoy. The meal started with the ethereal Amuse Bouche, Tuna & King Scallop Crudo! It's an appetizer that combines tuna, scallops, avocado, pickled radish, lime caviar sauce, and Bloody Mary Gel. The fresh taste of seafood paired with the spicy flavor is enough to whet the appetite, especially the slightly spicy and adorable taste of the Bloody Mary Gel. Following was the Pre-Starter Steak Tartare! Made with tenderloin, the tartare had a smooth texture and a rich meaty flavor, enhanced by the quail egg mixed in, which also elevated the taste and texture. The Starter Crab Bon Bon had a cute round body! The crispy exterior was lightly fried and not greasy at all, filled with sweet crab meat, corn, and the spicy 'Nduja sausage, served with a coconut soup full of Asian flavors – this crab cake was very much to my liking. For Seafood, I had the Lobster & Red Prawn Ravioli! The chef used the flavorful lobster and red prawn to make ravioli. Biting through the thin and chewy skin, the full flavor of the sea's freshness immediately burst out, served with a rich soup and fragrant basil oil, making the taste rich and attractive. The main course was A5 Striploin Foie Gras, Roast Plum & Mushroom! The A5 sirloin steak was cooked to a tender pink, a must-love for steak enthusiasts, and I liked the sweet and deliciously sinful foie gras. The roasted plums and marinated mushrooms helped cut through the richness and were definitely the perfect accompaniment. Dessert was Stone Fruit Crumble Vanilla Bean Ice Cream! The frozen vanilla bean ice cream sandwiched with the warm aroma of the fruit crumble, creating a taste that was very appealing to the taste buds between the cold and the warmth. Everyone coming to Tung Chung really should try the new dishes at Sunset Grill! In addition to à la carte, there is also a new weekend brunch, and booking and paying on the official website can enjoy a 30% discount, which is really a great deal.

Near the entrance is the serving area, followed by a row of glass wine cabinets, opposite the booths, and then into the main area, where large dried flower bouquets hang from the ceiling. The main tones are wood and emerald, creating a comfortable and elegant atmosphere.
