In the northeast of the old city, Sheraton Hefei Xinzhan Ligang
The flight was cancelled due to heavy fog, unexpectedly staying in Hefei for one more night, and unexpectedly experienced Sheraton Hefei Xinzhan Ligang, which is also the 116th hotel stay experience.
Compared with other Marriott hotels in Hefei, Sheraton Xinzhan Ligang is in the northeast corner of Hefei. From the map, it is not far from the "old city of Hefei" in the eyes of outsiders (the area surrounded by the ring park), and there is Hefei Railway Station nearby.
But in terms of location, compared with the prosperity of the administrative district, it is quieter and more residential here.
The hotel, which opened in 2012, is still well maintained in terms of hardware. Compared with Sheraton Shenyang Xindu Greentown, which opened at the same time, both the rooms and the public areas are much better maintained.
Because the plane was temporarily cancelled, I only booked it when I returned to the city from the airport. But after arriving at the hotel, the front desk had already informed that the room had been prepared and upgraded to a 90-square club suite. So, what exceeds is not only the hardware, but also the soft service.
The floors of Sheraton Xinzhan Ligang are not high overall, so I was given room No. 1 with a good view in the middle of the 9th floor.
What's different from other Sheraton suites is that this Sheraton has more "permanent apartment" attributes, such as the guest bathroom at the entrance has been changed to a kitchen with a smoke machine and stove, and there is also a washing machine in the bathroom of the master bathroom. This is the first time I have seen this in so many Sheratons I have stayed in. Another difference is the soft decoration.
The regular liver color and old cadre style of Sheraton are slightly "restrained" here, replaced by the "elegant" Huizhou Chinese style.
For example, the landscape painting on the background wall of the living room, the lantern-shaped table lamp next to it, and even some dead branches are placed by the window to add a Chinese artistic conception.
The happy hour of the lounge is fully open, there are many hot dishes, but I was attracted by the wonton and the cold dish made with tuna + cucumber. Breakfast is in the restaurant on the first floor, in addition to the regular, there is actually "sa (second tone) soup", although it is different from the method in Shandong, but the meat slices are really big.
Overall, this hotel is more suitable for business trips, there are not many local features to visit nearby, and the entrance and exit of the road at the door need to be turned around, which is a bit inconvenient, but other aspects, whether hardware or service, are very good.
At night, sitting in front of the large glass window with the lights off, I hope that the heavy fog will dissipate tomorrow and I can return home smoothly.
