|||In the new year, take advantage of the bright weather and feel the embrace of the sea! Here are 8 good places to see the sea in Shenzhen.
1⃣ Xiwai Mangrove Park
🚇Line 11 'Bihai Bay Station' E Exit
🌅 Located on the coastline, Xiwai Mangrove Wetland Park is a great place for Shenzhen people to watch the sunset. In the evening, you can admire the sea-crossing bridge across the sea, and the bottom of the bridge is the closest place to the sunset. Even in winter, you have the chance to catch the orange-pink sunset where the sea and sky meet.
2⃣ Yantian Seaside Plank Road
🚇 Line 8 'Haishan Station' B Exit
🌊 This is one of the most romantic seaside walking routes in Shenzhen. The seaside plank road runs between Yantian Central Park and the sea, offering a panoramic view of the mountain scenery and the colorful Yantian Port. This is also a must-visit spot on the way to Shatoujiao.
3⃣ Dameisha Seaside Park
🚇Line 8 'Dameisha Station'
🏖 Dameisha is the first choice for many people to see the sea in Shenzhen. The recently updated Dameisha, the Wish Tower has reopened, and some new logos have been added to the beach, making it more suitable for taking pictures. Compared with the past, the beach is now finer and cleaner, so you can swim in the sea with more peace of mind. There are two plank roads at both ends of the seaside park, where you can enjoy the vast sea view.
4⃣ Qianhai Stone Park
🚇 Line 5 'Qianwan Station' B Exit
Qianhai Stone Park is located in the northwest corner of the Qianhai area, facing the Happy Harbor across the sea. Here, the blue sea view and the romantic Ferris wheel complement each other. The park has large green lawns, reefs, and foxtail grass.
5⃣ Happy Harbor
🚇 Line 5 'Linhai Station' B2 Exit
🎡 Walk about 500 meters from Exit B2 of Linhai Station on Line 5 to reach the 'Bay Area Light' Happy Harbor Ferris Wheel. In addition to riding the Ferris wheel to watch the sea from a high altitude, you can also take a walk along the seaside. In the evening, watch the Ferris wheel slowly rotate in the sunset, capturing the romantic moments unique to this city.
6⃣ Shenzhen Bay Park
🚇Line 9 'Shenzhen Bay Park Station' D2 Exit
👣 As the escalator rises when you exit the station, the sea gradually appears in front of you. Shenzhen Bay Park is built along the winding Binhai Avenue. When the sun sets, the horizon and city buildings outline their contours in the twilight.
7⃣ Shenzhen Talent Park
🚇Line 2 'Houhai Station' H Exit
🌇Shenzhen Talent Park is located under the Spring Bamboo, connected to the 15-kilometer-long Binhai Promenade. It's suitable for a stroll in the breeze, and you can see the big yellow duck recently.
8⃣ Sea World Culture and Art Center
🚇Line 2 'Sea World Station' A Exit
👀 Go to the Sea World Culture and Art Center to enjoy the 180° sea view. Surrounded by mountains and sea, it is also the art gallery closest to the sea in Shenzhen. After viewing the exhibition, you can take a walk on the seaside promenade outside the museum.

The best way to see the Shenzhen Skyline
Shenzhen bay park is a beautiful park that runs almost the entire length of Shenzhen along the bay it shares with Hong Kong. It Starts in futian and runs uninterrupted all the way to Shekou in Nanshan district. It offers stunning views of the entire downtown of Shenzhen and also looks out across the bay to Hong Kong.
Along the way you can see Nanshan skyline, The Shenzhen Bay Bridge and the protected mangrove swamps. The whole route is paved and if you’re they’re on a weekday you can cycle the whole route, you’re unable to on weekends or public holidays as the area gets very busy!
There is lots of open green space for picnics and toilets with vending machines along the way. The whole park is very long so you can stop halfway for food and drinks at the malls around Houhai and talent park.
The park is on many bus routes, has parking and taxi ranks along the way and is accessible from Shenzhen bay Metro station.

The Shenzhen Bay park is the perfect place for an early evening stroll to cool down. The breeze from the sea is so refreshing and you are treated with wonderful views of the skyscrapers in Shekou.

Illumination
Shenzhen has no shortage of parks, in fact many of them have been written about by myself for this very account, but as with all things in life, not all are equal. Shenzhen Talent Park is one of the better ones in the city, a high accolade in what is a ‘city of parks.’ Nestled away in a bustling area of Nanshan, this whole area has sprung up into a must visit place that offers both a quiet escape from the city, and a fine dining experience, a real Shenzhen place.
This park transforms at night too, with the nature of modern buildings in Shenzhen, they are designed with night time illumination in mind. With a kaleidoscope of colours on offer this is an absolute feast for the eyes.
The best location for the night view is from the bridge that stretches over the water.

Catching sunset silhouettes in one of the famous "go to places" in the city of Shenzhen. It's called Shenzhen bay. A place to unwind, relax, and breathe of fresh air after a hectic week in this very urbanized city. Some patrons do they brisk~walking, jogging, bike riding on the stretch of the bay while the sun sets around 6 in the evening. ❤️
Park is open for public. 👍

Mangrove Bay Park | Don't forget the green forest here just because you want to see the sea
I've been to Mangrove Bay Park countless times, and in the past, my attention was always on the sea, but actually, if you retract your gaze, the trees here are also beautiful.
The entire greenway gives a feeling of a lot of energy.
It's great for taking photos, but I suggest going early in the morning, preferably around six or seven o'clock, otherwise it gets crowded and hot.

Shenzhen's Green Fairy Tale Park, with its wooden cabins, boardwalks, and sandpits, is less crowded on weekends
Shenzhen is opening new parks so quickly that there's no shortage of places to take kids on the weekend. Recently, I discovered this park in Nanshan, and to my surprise, it was empty! It's like stepping into a natural oxygen bar in the Green Fairy Tale, with tall and dense forests🌳, winding boardwalks🚶, whimsical wooden cabins🏡, a sky-mirror-like glass viewing platform, and a children's sandpit suitable for strolling with kids. There are wooden climbing frames, wooden horses, and seesaws🪵 for the children to play with, and right next to the sandpit is a restroom🚾, which makes it convenient to wash off the sand after play. The park also has a leisurely hiking trail full of negative ions - and when you're tired, there are rest areas in the park where you can cool off and recharge💪, all making it a joyful place for children to play and engage in outdoor activities. I recommend it for kids.【Near the park, there is also a blue children's playground with trampolines and a carousel, which makes it very convenient for a stroll with kids.📍Qiaocheng North Park🚇Metro: Line 2 or 8 to Qiaocheng North Station, Exit C, and get close to nature

Shenzhen in June: A city of stark contrasts, with nothing but skyscrapers towering above
📆【Travel Guide】
📆Itinerary:
From Shenzhen North Station to Longhua District to Nanshan District (Shenzhen Bay Park) to Futian District (Urban skyscrapers, Chegongmiao) to Luohu District (Port city)
🚗Transportation Tips:
Subway
🌟Highlights of the trip:
1. The best way to travel in Shenzhen is by subway, as there is nothing in Shenzhen but tall buildings.
2. Chegongmiao is said to be the place where the wealthy in Shenzhen spend their money.
3. Shenzhen's subway stations are huge; wear comfortable shoes for transfers that might make you want to cry.
4. Shenzhen subway stations integrate shopping malls and plazas for dining and entertainment. The air conditioning in the subway stations is very strong in summer, while it's very hot outside.
5. Some areas in Nanshan District have nice scenery, and from Shenzhen Bay Park, you can see Hong Kong.
6. Futian District is an office area, the city center. Luohu District is a port city, the gateway between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, which is quite interesting. Nanshan District has some scenic spots with nice views.
7. In summer, it is recommended to visit some famous shopping plazas. The Eye of Shenzhen station is a good place for checking in. Shennan Avenue is where the skyscrapers are located. Chegongmiao is an entertainment area for the wealthy.
💰Average Spending:
Meals 30/50 RMB. Varies from person to person.
📌Little Tips:
1. Shenzhen has the most skyscrapers and not many historical and cultural areas, making it an average tourist destination.
2. The subway is the main mode of transportation in Shenzhen. With strong air conditioning in summer, you can bring a light jacket, but it's very hot outside, so be sure to wear sunscreen and comfortable shoes for the large subway stations.
3. June in Shenzhen is typical Lingnan weather, with heavy rains and humidity, so bring an umbrella. It's better not to travel to Shenzhen, especially not in June, or you'll encounter the heavy rains and intense heat of Shenzhen, which is full of skyscrapers and can be a bit boring.

Shenzhen!! Every sentence doesn't mention romance, yet romance is everywhere
Shenzhen has hidden too many treasure spots.
Really should go out more often to see.

It's probably hard to find a second place in the city that's as picturesque by the sea and suitable for picnics.

Shenzhen Bay Park: The best cycling route in Shenzhen
Shenzhen Bay, Dameisha and Xiaomeisha seaside promenades, Wutong Mountain Greenway, Yantian seaside promenade, Dasha River Ecological Corridor, Yinhu Mountain Greenway, Huan Shiyan Lake Greenway, Haibei Bay, Furong Urban Greenway... These are a few of the cycling treasure routes that cyclists often visit, and the place I go to the most is the Furong Urban Greenway (also known as Xinzhou Greenway), because it's right next to my home. The farthest place I often go to is Shenzhen Bay. Although it's a bit far, Shenzhen Bay has Talent Park, Wedding Park, Sea Breeze Sports Park, seamlessly connected from Area A to Area G's Wanghai Road in Shenzhen Bay Park, forming a dozen kilometers of seaside greenway, with many routes available for cycling. Shenzhen Bay has good air, spacious roads, and beautiful scenery. Cycling along the way and taking in the views and photos is my favorite cycling + hiking route.

Shenzhen Bay~
It was another fruitless day, and I happened to walk to Shenzhen Bay Park. It's quite large, built along the coast, with some people running and cycling.
I probably walked more than two kilometers along the coast, surrounded by flowers, plants, and the chirping of birds.
It was a sunny day, but I didn't watch the sunset, as the journey was too far, so I went back early.

Shenzhen Bay | The most scenic seaside park
Shenzhen Bay Park, you can see the sea right out of the subway
🚇Shenzhen Metro Line 9 Shenzhen Bay Park D2 Exit
⏱It is recommended to go there between 4~6 PM for the best experience, although it can be crowded during this time, just avoid the crowds for photos
📷It must be said, the sunset at Shenzhen Bay is truly beautiful
🍥Be sure to pay attention to safety when taking photos on the rocks, there are many staff managing the site, and I was called back up shortly after going down
However, there are many small bugs under the rocks, which really triggered my trypophobia, giving me goosebumps all over, so I suggest the ladies might not want to go down after all
Overall, going to Shenzhen Bay to bask in the sun and enjoy the evening breeze is very pleasant and comfortable

This might be the most suitable place for a leisurely evening stroll in Shenzhen
In the Nanshan District of Shenzhen, there is such a street
It is by the riverbank🫧, leads to the seaside🏝️, and you can walk along the river channel filled with flowers💐, all the way to the magnificent sea🌊.
If you are tired from walking around Shenzhen Bay Park, it is recommended to take a walk here.
Luxurious houses line both sides of the street🏬, yet it is understated and quiet.
Especially at night, looking at the Shenzhen Bay Bridge from here, with the clear moon and breeze, and the boats like paintings. Along the road, various brightly lit specialty stores are full of life.
This place is suitable for couples to stroll hand in hand👫, or for one to sit quietly on the riverside bench😌.
You can also meet friends for a drink at the bar🍺
or have a family gathering around a stove to brew tea☕️
📌Address: Shenzhen Bay Central Road, Nanshan District
🚇Transportation: Metro Line 2, Wanxia Station
⏰Suggested time: After 9 pm, it's quiet, with fewer people and cars
🤙Suggested spots to stay:
1️⃣Both sides of the Central River🏖️:
The previous pink tabebuia trees made both sides of the Central River a must-visit hotspot for everyone in Shenzhen. Now the tabebuia flowers have withered, but the scenery is still beautiful. Near the sea, there are windmill towers🗼, big beaches🏖️, and several cross-river landscape bridges🌉 that are beautiful when lit up at night.
2️⃣CM Book Café📚
On the east side of Central Road, walk to the entrance of Huangting Harbor community on Bay Six Street, where you can drink coffee and beverages🥤, read books, watch football matches⚽️. It has several floors, each with a different layout, and the top floor has an outdoor space with tents⛺️ set up in a camping style, creating a great atmosphere for photos📸.
3️⃣Cat Officer's Outdoor Tavern🍻:
A very atmospheric tavern, recommended for its signature drinks, one of which seems to be called 'Oiran'.
4️⃣Brilliant Snack Taipei Snack Shop🥨:
Previously recommended in a note, the stinky tofu and crispy onion sausage here are very distinctive, a Shenzhen specialty.
5️⃣Bird Bamboo Izakaya🍱:
Recommended for those who like Japanese cuisine or barbecue, pets are allowed inside, with Japanese-style decoration, the place is not big but very cozy.

Shenzhen, a city full of charm and vitality, boasts unique landscapes and a romantic atmosphere. In Shenzhen, one can experience the perfect blend of a modern city with natural scenery.
🍃
Shenzhen's nightscape is enchanting, with skyscrapers standing tall and lights shining brightly, creating a vibrant and dynamic urban tapestry. The dazzling neon lights and twinkling LED screens make Shenzhen seem like it's set amidst a splendid starry sky. With 1200 parks and a particularly large area of urban greenery, these green treasures allow people to feel the fresh tranquility and romantic leisure of nature amidst the bustling city.
💚
The trip to Shenzhen lasted for 3 days and 2 nights. Apart from work, I got up at 5:30 every morning to watch the sunrise at Shenzhen Bay Park and gaze at Hong Kong across the sea; in the evening, I enjoyed the sunset and the starlight show at Shenzhen Talent Park. The temperature was just right, neither cold nor hot, very comfortable.
🌴
Shenzhen Bay Park
The scenery is intoxicating, with open seas and vast skies. Strolling along the coastline, feeling the cool breeze on your skin, breathing fresh air, and listening to the sound of waves hitting the rocks on the shore, the chirping of birds and insects, the shadows of trees and the fragrance of flowers. The brilliant sunlight filters through the leaves onto the grass, filling every corner with life and energy.
▫️
Walking along the footpath, romantic scenery is everywhere. Lawns, seas of flowers, ponds, sculptures, and other landscapes are scattered in an orderly fashion, each corner blending seamlessly with the natural marine environment. Looking up, there is the fresh blue sky and white clouds, and all around is the vast blue ocean, comfortable and free.
▫️
The sunset merges with the sea, enveloped in splendid rosy light, changing colors. The waves roll with golden foam, creating sparkling ripples. Here, one can savor the charm of nature and the romance of humanity.
🌳
Shenzhen Talent Park
It has both modern urban beauty and a strong cultural atmosphere. The scenery is beautiful and charming, with rich and colorful vegetation, tall trees, and vibrant flowers, complemented by the bay, bridges, cityscape, lawns, and sculptures, forming a picture of ecological harmony.
▫️
Strolling along the path with lake and mountain views, one can enjoy the shimmering lake, the stones from other mountains, the exotic trees and grass, and the fragrance of birds and flowers, a picturesque scene that makes one linger. Across the lake, the China Resources Headquarters building stands like a 'spring bamboo shoot', adding a modern city vibe to the natural beauty. In the evening, the changing sunset is gorgeous and colorful. The light show is splendid, reflecting off each other, lively and bright.
▫️
Here, the cultural atmosphere is rich, with the Starlight Bridge lined with outstanding talents from various fields in Shenzhen, including many Nobel Prize winners. These talents have made great contributions to the development of Shenzhen and even China; the π Bridge is also interesting. Walking along the bridge, one can enjoy the beautiful lake view while learning about π, truly achieving education through entertainment.

Shenzhen! Show off your favorite park to stroll around, it has to be the Sunrise Theater's big lawn!
Shenzhen is truly remarkable!! In the precious land of Shenzhen Bay, a park has been built along the seaside where you can walk🏃♀️, cycle🚴♀️, run🏃♀️, camp, and watch the sea!
There's also such a large lawn, specially for the Shenzhen workers to watch the sunrise!
The location is superb, and even in the summer afternoon, it won't be too hot, as the sun is already blocked after 4 o'clock. Just spread a picnic mat, lie down here, and watch the clouds roll by in the sky, it's incredibly pleasant!

A Park by the Subway Entrance Where You Can See the Sea | The Best Running and Cycling Spot in Shenzhen
Take the subway to Shenzhen Bay Park, and you can see the sea right at the subway entrance. However, the bay is sandwiched between Shenzhen and Yuen Long, Hong Kong, so the water is not very clear or open. Shenzhen Bay Park is actually quite large, with a 20-kilometer-long seaside promenade, making it an excellent place for running and cycling. The park took 8 years to plan, design, and construct, and along the coastline, 12 different themed parks have been planned, providing areas for leisure and entertainment, fitness activities, sightseeing, and experiencing nature for both residents and tourists.
The best way to visit Shenzhen Bay Park is, of course, to find a morning or evening, run the whole course along the way, and feel the seaside charm of Shenzhen. Or be like me, a lazy person, bring a cup of coffee, find a bench in the Mangrove Park, and hide from the chaos of life in the dappled light.
