Snowboarding at the arena in Shaoxing was a wonderful experience. It's not too pricey and it's good fun for a couple of hours. You can choose to ski or snowboard and all attire is included except gloves which is an absolute must! I'd definitely give this place an 8/10! Just a few hours away from Shanghai , ShaoXing somehow has the magical power to transform the weather!🔥➡️❄️ Well not the entire city of course. The place called Qiaobo, and its a heaven for winter sports lovers who still ask everyday why winter is still looooonggg time to go 🥲 But no worries! Shaoxing Qiaobo Ice & Snow World can cure the “pain”! Shaoxing Qiaobo has two ski slopes! The primary one is 200 meters long, 40 meters wide, with an average slope of 8 degrees; intermediate and advanced ski trails are 300 meters long, 40 meters wide, and an average slope of 17 degrees. Not bad huh? They offer, well practically everything you need if you wanna do 🏂,⛷, or nothing serious like building a ☃️. Ski/snowboard boards, waterproof jackets, the goggles, those matching color turtle pillow cushion to avoid injury? They have em too! Ticket price varies by time of the week. Duration of one entry is 4 hours. The place is located in a very nice place with plenty of hotels around if you are in Shaoxing on vacation. We went there during the CNY so we were prepared to the long queue and tons of people( well in the end we only waited for 30 minutes as we got there quite early, and strongly suggested to do so): still the place was worth the waiting as you get to play safely with your kids or having a decent downhill skiing for the bravest. All kind of equipment come with the entrance ticket: snowsuit, helmet, snow boots, skis or snowboard. for amateur like me was a pretty nice experience.
