Best Viewing Time
The initial flowering period is from March 10th to 15th every year; the peak flowering period of Jinchuan pear blossoms is from March 15th to early April, lasting about one month.
Viewing Locations
• Sha'er Township: This is where the Jinchuan pear blossoms are most concentrated. There are Shida'an Observation Deck (where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of mist, smoke, and pear blossoms) and Shenxianbao (where you can overlook the river valley from the observation deck, with a wide view and magnificent scenery, taking in the vast expanse of pear blossoms, suitable for photography enthusiasts).
• Songping Village Observation Deck and Pear Blossom Avenue: This is an excellent location to view the entire Jinchuan River Valley. The pear blossoms here are short and dense, suitable for taking photos.
• Hetaoshanzhuang Shooting Spot near the county seat and Babu Li behind the county seat: You can enjoy the beautiful pear blossoms from different angles.
• Zengda Township's Shimenzi and Anning Yubei Pavilion, where flowers bloom earlier: You can enjoy the blooming pear blossoms earlier here.
Transportation Guide
• External Transportation:
◦ Airplane: You can first arrive at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport or Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, and then transfer to other means of transportation to Jinchuan County.
◦ Train: You can first arrive at Chengdu Railway Station or Chengdu East Railway Station, and then take a long-distance bus to Jinchuan County at Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station or Chadianzi Bus Station.
• Internal Transportation:
◦ Self-driving: Starting from Chengdu, head west, pass through the state government seat Malkang, enter National Highway 248 (formerly Provincial Highway 211), pass through Baiwan Tunnel, and follow the Dajin River Valley to reach Jinchuan County.
