I have returned from a trip to Gunsan. Gunsan is one of the cities where our country's modern culture is best preserved, and it is said that during the Japanese colonial period, a large amount of grain was exported to Japan through the port of Gunsan. 1️⃣ I first visited Seonyudo, which is known for its beautiful scenery along the Saemangeum seawall in Gunsan. Seonyudo is especially famous for its beautiful evening sunsets. 2️⃣ After Seonyudo, I moved to downtown Gunsan and visited the Gunsan Modern History Museum. It is a well-organized place where you can learn about artifacts and history related to Gunsan. 3️⃣ Gunsan is known for its abundant marine resources. I went to Gunsan Sinseon Raw Fish Restaurant near Dongbaedae Bridge and ordered a raw fish set menu. I enjoyed the variety of fresh and well-seasoned seafood. 4️⃣ Gunsan, along with Jeonju and Iksan, is one of the three major cities representing Jeollabuk-do, with many industrial complexes, tourist attractions, and old-timey restaurants. I heard about this place from one of my friends. In July this year I set off the place with my family and my neighbour's family. I was surprised to see that I had to drive some more than 20Kms inside the sea to reach the place. The experince was great. As soon as we reached there we immediately went for zipline. Ziplining over the sea was truly a unique experience for us. Then we rolled out our mats and sat down on the calm beach and spent a few hours soaking the sun which was otherwise hardly visible. Towards the end of the day we rented electric bikes and toures the whole island on our own. The island is extremely beautiful and clean and the zigzag roads on the edge of the sealine made it even more beautiful.
