The mysterious Sanxingdui, which artifact do you most want to see? | You're really playing extravagantly!
Address, Xiangxin Road, Guanghan City, Sichuan Province
The Sanxingdui site is located on the southern bank of the Yazi River, northwest of Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, covering an area of 12 square kilometers. It has a history of 3,000 to 5,000 years and is the largest, longest-lasting, and most culturally rich ancient city, ancient state, and ancient Shu cultural site discovered in the southwest region to date.
The most completely preserved eastern, western, and southern city walls and the inner city wall of Moon Bay are still present. The Sanxingdui site is hailed as one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century for humanity, indicating that the Yangtze River basin, like the Yellow River basin, is part of the cradle of Chinese civilization, and is acclaimed as 'the source of Yangtze civilization'.
In January 1988, it was announced by the State Council as the third batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
Picture one, the bronze twisted head kneeling figure, was discovered in the 2021 archaeological findings, and because of its extremely vivid expression, it has become an internet sensation.
Picture two, the tortoise-back grid-shaped object, was excavated in 2022, providing solid evidence for everyone's imagination, with its superb welding technology and exquisite lines, it may be related to the He Tu and Luo Shu...

Sanxingdui Site
After visiting the Chengdu Giant Panda Base, I took a side trip to the Sanxingdui Museum. Sanxingdui is located in Guanghan City, but it's not far from Chengdu; it's just over forty minutes' drive from the Panda Base.
Sanxingdui is the first museum I visited that charges an admission fee. Upon arriving at the entrance, many people were offering tour guide services, but it was unclear if they were official. Inside the museum, there were audio guides for rent. I rented one, but it didn't seem particularly useful.
The treasures of the museum are the divine tree and the human figures.
If you're quick, two to three hours is enough. If you want to take your time, you can plan for half a day.

The Sanxingdui Museum is really worth a visit!
After thousands of years of slumber, it has awakened to astonish the world! The Sanxingdui Museum is definitely worth the trip!
🎫 Make sure to book in advance through the mini-program, as tickets are generally not available on-site. The full ticket is 72 yuan, and you can enter directly with your ID card without needing to exchange for a ticket. On-site reservations are not available for the guided tours; the official ones can only be booked on-site. There are quite a lot of people, and the queue is quite long. In the end, I had to give up and rent an electronic guide. There are also online comments that you can find external guides, but the quality varies, so be careful to discern.
🚗 Departing from Mianyang, it takes about 30 minutes to reach Guanghan North by high-speed rail, and then about 20 minutes by taxi🚕. There are many taxis at the high-speed rail station, so it's quite convenient to take one. After arriving, you need to walk across to enter the museum.
🍲 We went in the morning and simply bought some food inside the park, including burgers, fried chicken, convenience meals, and the coffee shop had sandwiches. The roads around are under construction, and there really isn't much to eat, so you can bring your own.
🤓 The crowd was okay in the morning, but there were indeed many students there for study tours, which was a bit noisy. The museum is most crowded around 2-3 pm, and the area around the museum's treasures is completely filled with people.
📸 The first and second floors are very crowded. If you lower the exposure when taking photos, you can get a picture of the artifacts without people in it, and have a moment alone with the artifacts, which is quite shocking. To think that such a level of craftsmanship was achieved thousands of years ago is truly remarkable! I've been catching up on documentaries about Sanxingdui recently, and I suggest everyone watch them before going, as it makes the visit more meaningful. The temporary exhibition hall on the -1 floor is very well set up and is a must-see, refer to P15.
🏠 The architecture of the new museum is very photogenic, looking down from above, I personally think it resembles the universe (Sanxingdui always brings to mind aliens), with its spiral patterns, it's stunning! There is also a small grove of trees in the plaza outside the museum, which is also great for taking photos!
In summary, Sanxingdui is definitely worth a visit, but it's best to avoid the crowds, otherwise, it can be really tiring and rushed, and you won't be able to hear many of the explanations.

Explore the origins of the ancient Shu civilization, providing solid evidence of the diversity within the unified Chinese civilization!
The Sanxingdui site, representing the ancient Shu civilization, is part of the cradle of Chinese civilization and is hailed as the 'source of the Yangtze River civilization'.
The Sanxingdui site is located on the southern bank of the Yazi River in Guanghan, Sichuan, and its cultural aspects range from the Baodun culture, the Fish and Bird Phase III culture, the Sanxingdui culture, to the Shierqiao culture.
There is not only the Cancong culture represented by the bronze figure with protruding eyes, characteristic of the gathering and hunting era, but also the Fish and Bird culture represented by the image of an osprey, typical of the fishing and hunting era, as well as the Du Yu culture of the agricultural era, represented by the image of a hawk-headed cuckoo.
The gold artifacts of Sanxingdui, represented by gold staffs, gold masks, and gold face covers, display a gold craftsmanship that is astonishing. The phenomenon of a large number of ivory and seashells being buried together is very rare in the history of world bronze civilizations.
The bronze human figures express different statuses and hierarchical power structures through their crowns, hairstyles, and clothing. Eventually, the secular royal power, represented by braided hair, replaced the divine authority represented by hairpins.
The ancient Shu people worshipped the sun, moon, mountains, rivers, and believed in dragons, tigers, snakes, and birds, and revered their ancestral deities. Sun worship and sacred tree worship were at the core of the ancient Shu civilization's belief system.
In mythology, the sacred trees were 'Fusang' in the east, 'Jianmu' in the center, and 'Ruomu' in the west. The sacred tree was a material carrier that embodied the ancient Shu's cosmological views, reflecting their concept of communicating between heaven and earth.
The titles of the successive Shu kings throughout the ancient Shu kingdom were Cancong, Baiguan, Fish and Bird, Du Yu (the Watchful Emperor), and Bie Ling (the Enlightened King). After the Enlightened King succeeded Du Yu, the throne was passed down for 12 generations until 316 BC, when Qin conquered the Shu kingdom.

PLOG | What we played in Chengdu for an extreme two days and one night
1️⃣ As soon as we arrived in Chengdu, we rushed to the Sanxingdui site because we were very interested in Sanxingdui, but it's a bit far from the center of Chengdu. You can take a bus that goes directly to Sanxingdui, with a student ticket 🎫💰36. Once inside, you can take photos with your ticket and pick up a photo pendant at the exit. The exhibition hall only has two floors and is not particularly large, but the artifacts inside are very shocking. There are many explanations at the entrance, and you can also pay 💰10 to listen to explanations through a mini-program; the souvenirs inside are also a must-buy.
2️⃣ We went to eat at the Daiqian Jin Chuan Chuan recommended by Mi Zijun near Taikoo Li. The decoration style is quite trendy, but unexpectedly delicious. ⁉️ If you can't eat spicy food, definitely don't put pea pods in the spicy pot, a painful lesson from a Fujianese who can't handle much spice.
3️⃣ On the third day, we went to see the giant pandas 🐼, also taking the Panda Base bus. The pandas are really too cute, but we didn't see Hua Hua. When we went to see Hua Hua, he was sleeping, and we would have had to wait a long time. We were in a hurry, so we didn't go, but we saw many other little pandas, which were also very cute, including the red panda, which is a bit different from the traditional panda, but also very cute 😍.
4️⃣ After seeing the pandas, we took a bus to Taikoo Li and ate at Tao De Clay Pot. The service was very good, and the staff was very enthusiastic. We ordered a lot of dishes, but they were just average. Only the wild mushroom buns and garlic shrimp are recommended; the sour horn juice was too sweet.
5️⃣ Then we went to the Wide and Narrow Alleys, where the commercial atmosphere felt very strong. We bought a lot of souvenirs at the trendy Grandpa Panda's place, the green panda bags are just too cute, but there are many fakes there, so remember to look carefully.
6️⃣ We went to BM, where the staff were really good-looking. The lighting in the BM fitting room is great, making people look incredibly beautiful, but many clothes were out of stock, and overall there weren't as many as on the APP.
8️⃣ In the end, not knowing what to eat, we went to Wanda Plaza and had some Dian Dou De. Let me tell you, Dian Dou De really should be eaten in Guangdong; it felt too greasy, and we were drinking tea the whole time.
We also drank Grandma's Handmade, which was very substantial. We ordered the classic style, rice sesame and longan gardenia coconut, none of which were disappointing, very delicious.
P10 is just some takeout we had, you can try Chengdu's Milk Tea Tree Xia, we ordered two cups and neither were disappointing; we had Domino's, flattened hawthorn, yam beans; and takeout roasted duck, all very delicious.
I still want to revisit the city of Chengdu.

Is the Sanxingdui site related to aliens?
Directions: There are parking signs on the road, and parking is free. The road surface is not very even, tips: 1. The entrance to the museum is at the end of the parking lot, try to park further inside.
2. Hire a reliable guide, who will not gossip like a typical tour guide, nor will he introduce each relic one by one like a typical interpreter. Instead, he emphasizes cultural integration, linking several Chinese civilizations together. He uses logic and relevant academic articles and viewpoints to prove the credibility of his interpretations.
Q1: Why do some masks have flat tops?
Pictures two to six all show different hairstyles or hat styles. It is speculated that there was something supporting on top of the flat head, but it has either been lost or carbonized over the years. For example, the carbonization of the wooden part of the gold staff, leaving only the gold staff or flat head. Like the hollow clenched fist of the priest, it is possible that the ivory inside has carbonized.
Q2: Why are there so many damaged artifacts? Picture seven
Historian Xu Zhuoyun's interpretation in 'Jingwei Huaxia' is: a ritual for dealing with the 'society of a fallen nation'. This 'absolute connection to heaven' method was used to sever the connection between humans and deities, thereby ending the divine power of the former dynasty, preventing the already fallen group from challenging or overturning the new rulers.
Another explanation is that a severe earthquake once occurred at Sanxingdui, damaging the artifacts at the epicenter, which were then buried together. This is also historically verifiable.
Q3: Is the gold mask outside the bronze mask an exotic style?
Pictures eight to ten tell of the integration of Sanxingdui culture and Northwestern culture. The same gold masks are also found in artifacts from Tibet, Xinjiang, and other places.
Q4: Do those exaggerated shapes (after picture twelve) or the steering wheel creativity from different eras come from aliens?
We can find many similarities between the Baodun culture, Sanxingdui culture, and Jinsha culture, which are all located on the Chengdu Plain, as well as with the Liangzhu culture (carbonized rice), Erlitou culture, and archaeological artifacts from Jiangxi, Hunan, and other places. Perhaps these shapes originated from nature worshipped by the people of Sanxingdui, such as eyes, elephants, the sun, etc.
Finally, let's look at the cover shape related to Shu, which is related to silkworms. Shu embroidery has been found many times in the artifacts, and the last picture is an antique bronze lamp decoration at the entrance of the museum.
Only one two-thousandth of Sanxingdui has been excavated, and without written records, there are many possible interpretations. Hopefully, with the help of technology and the use of logic, we will be able to explain more of the unsolved mysteries.

Sanxingdui Museum · A must-visit in this lifetime
The Sanxingdui Museum is located at the northeast corner of the Sanxingdui site, a key national cultural relic protection unit, on the banks of the famous historical and cultural city of Xiyuhe in Guanghan, Sichuan Province, 38 kilometers south and 26 kilometers north of Deyang. It is a large modern thematic site museum in China.
The Sanxingdui Museum has two exhibition halls, with a total exhibition area of nearly 12,000 square meters, divided into the first exhibition hall (comprehensive hall, exhibiting gold, bronze, jade, stone, pottery, and other cultural relics) and the second exhibition hall (Bronze Hall). The two exhibition halls have a large scale, exquisite layout, and content with exhibition rhythm and ups and downs, which, with their interpretation of knowledge, stories, decoration, and fun, powerfully reveal the profound connotations of the Sanxingdui cultural relics, reflecting the brilliance of the Sanxingdui civilization, giving visitors the feeling of being there and experiencing a national journey.
The Sanxingdui Museum covers an area of about 33 hectares, with a greening area of over 80%, featuring a beautiful environment, suitable layout, open paths, weeping willows, unique flowers of ancient Shu, and lake and island shadows everywhere, reflecting the perfect combination of human culture and nature in western Sichuan, with elegant and natural garden characteristics. The appearance of the museum's main building seeks to combine the charm of the terrain, historical relics, and the art of cultural relic shapes, blending primitive meaning with a modern atmosphere. The exhibition hall buildings are semi-arc-shaped sloping ecological buildings, promoting the humanistic spirit of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, and the two exhibition hall buildings are three deformed spiral buildings, symbolizing both 'piling three stars' and 'the evolution of human history'. Outside the exhibition halls, there is a grand ancient sacrificial platform and modern cultural and sports activity venues for large-scale performances, expressing the ancient, vast, and profound historical significance of the Sanxingdui culture.

Sanxingdui Exhibition Guide | Slumbering for thousands of years, its awakening shocks the world
| Slumbering for thousands of years, its awakening shocks the world.
Standing before the ancient Shu civilization, one can't help but feel a profound reverence for the gods of heaven and earth! Gazing into the past for thousands of years, it seems as if the 'Classic of Mountains and Seas' is indeed a splendid tale of immortality from ancient times~ After watching the Sanxingdui documentary at home with my brother for a while, and engaging in some amateur archaeology, our desire to explore Sanxingdui grew stronger! Finally, during the off-peak travel season in March, my brother and I scheduled a visit to Sanxingdui!
.
📍 Sanxingdui Museum
🚄 If you're coming from out of town, take the high-speed train to Guanghan North Station (⚠️Do not go to Sanxingdui Station, as it's hard to get a taxi there, and it's far from the museum. Guanghan North Station is the closest.)
🚌 If departing from Chengdu, take the direct bus to Sanxingdui Museum from Chunxi Road, which takes about 1 hour.
🎫 Ticket: ¥72 (Remember to book in advance, tickets are released at 20:00 every day, and you can book 5 days ahead. ⚠️If you don't get a ticket, do not go to the venue, as there are no on-site ticket sales! Don't make a wasted trip.)
✅ Many of the guides at the museum entrance are not official, and I personally think most are not very professional. It's recommended to rent an audio guide or book an official tour!
✅ Visiting hours: Open all year round
Exhibition Hall 8:30-18:00 (Entry stops at 17:00)
Restoration Hall 9:00-17:00
.
2️⃣ Visiting Strategy
The Sanxingdui culture, which 'slumbered for thousands of years and shocked the world upon awakening,' was first discovered in 1929. After nearly a century of excavation, restoration, and scientific research, a large new museum was finally opened in 2023, showcasing many astonishing artifacts that have been restored and brought before our eyes!
✅ Upon entering the exhibition hall, the new museum's theme 'Ancient City, Ancient State, Ancient Shu Culture' is divided into three main exhibition areas: 'Century of Dreams,' 'Majestic Capital,' and 'Heaven, Earth, and Divine Beings,' each with different exhibition units.
✅ 'Century of Dreams' and 'Majestic Capital' are on the first floor, while 'Heaven, Earth, and Divine Beings' is on the second floor. The new museum is about five times the size of the original and displays many more artifacts. In addition to the artifacts unearthed from Sacrificial Pits No. 1 and No. 2, the new round of archaeological excavations has brought forth over 1,500 artifacts for display, including pottery, bronzeware, jade, and gold items, which is more than three times the number of artifacts previously exhibited, with nearly 600 items being displayed for the first time.
✅ The new museum is notable for its use of many new technologies, such as AI algorithms for artifact restoration and naked-eye 3D reconstruction of archaeological 'pods,' making the exhibition experience richer and more immersive.
✅ The first floor is divided into 'Century of Dreams' and 'Majestic Capital' exhibition areas.
It narrates the journey of Sanxingdui's archaeological excavations and interprets the natural environment, social landscape, urban layout, and power structure of the ancient Sanxingdui state from the perspective of civilization exploration. (The famous large standing bronze figure is located in this area)
✅ The second floor 'Heaven, Earth, and Divine Beings' exhibition area is a display zone for exquisite artifacts unearthed from the sacrificial area, focusing on important ritual vessels used by the ancient Shu people in sacrificial activities (mainly including the bronze sacred tree, human-faced bird body, vertical-eyed bronze figures, golden masks, etc.)

The on-site experience is truly breathtaking!
Seeing the bronze human figures was already impressive, but the bronze trees were even more so. I'm at a loss for words to describe it.
A tip is not to crowd around the entrance to take photos of the bronze masks. Move quickly inside, where there are plenty of masks to see! Each one is unique. The further back you go in the museum, the more exquisite the collections become.
The quality of the guides at the museum entrance varies, so choose wisely. The one we met today wasn't even as good as the free QR code information provided by the museum.
The cultural relics restoration center also has some collections that should not be missed.

Chuanxi is back, let's talk about the big truths that aren't on the internet
Chuanxi is back, let's talk about the big truths that aren't on the internet..
||-
1-If you're planning to fly to Chengdu, I suggest choosing Shuangliu Airport if you have a choice, as Tianfu is really too far away, about 70km from the city center, and it's not very convenient whether you take a taxi or the subway
-
2-A 3-in-1 hardshell jacket is almost enough for winter in Chuanxi, but I recommend a hardshell jacket + fleece/down. I also don't suggest bringing a long down coat, as it's inconvenient for using the restroom
-
3-The attractions in Chengdu city are very concentrated, and you can do it yourself. If you want to go to museums, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, or Sanxingdui, you can also book tickets in advance and enter with your ID card, no need to join a tour group.
-
4-The group meals with bus tours are mostly Sichuan cuisine, and the drivers will take kickbacks. I sincerely suggest that if you join a bus tour, consider whether you can cancel the group meal and bring some dry food to eat on the road. We joined a small group, so we didn't have this concern
-
5-If you want to buy local specialties, you usually choose milk balls, milk sticks, beef jerky, etc. I suggest buying them in the area of Siguniang Mountain or Kangding, which might be more economical. Anyway, don't buy them inside the scenic areas
-
6-There are many little sheep and yaks on the roadside for you to take pictures with, but they charge a fee. Riding a yak costs about 50, and you can bargain hard during the off-season
-
7-Chuanxi is vast, and I still suggest joining a tour group if you are traveling alone. Experienced drivers can consider self-driving, but I really don't recommend it for beginners, as this is the plateau! High altitude sickness and difficult roads are no joke
-
8-If you're afraid of altitude sickness, observe in the hotel on the first day, because there is an incubation period for altitude sickness. If it's severe, go to a clinic to get an IV and inhale some oxygen. The effect of medical oxygen is not comparable to handheld oxygen
-
9-I don't recommend choosing tours below market price, as they are basically shopping tours. Not only will they force you to shop, but they will also scare you into buying oxygen. Not only will you not save money, but it will also ruin your mood

Sanxingdui
🇨🇳 Slumbering for three thousand years, its awakening astonishes the world.
🇨🇳 The Sanxingdui civilization, which flourished during the Shang Dynasty 4500 years ago, showcased its mature bronze craftsmanship and unique sacrificial culture. The complex and exquisite components of the sacrificial artifacts, stacked in a pagoda-like fashion, are now displayed before the world. The worship of the sun was a consistent theme, perhaps because birds flying high could get closest to the sun, making the Sun Bird a classic artistic representation of the Shu people.
🇨🇳 The Sanxingdui culture can be compared with the Mycenaean civilization, the Egyptian civilization, and the Babylonian civilization, greatly enriching the history of Chinese civilization. Whether it's the golden masks or the bronze scepters, they share commonalities with other civilizations of the world, such as the Maya of Central America, the Babylon of the Mesopotamian region, the Peacock Dynasty of the Indian subcontinent, and Tutankhamun of Egypt. The mysterious ancient Shu civilization has sparked infinite imagination in people. In that era, there was almost no interaction with other regions of the world, yet despite the distinct characteristics of human civilizations, the common traits of worship are quite evident.
Experience the five thousand years of Huaxia, inheriting the Chinese civilization!🇨🇳

Checked in at Sanxingdui Museum
We took a taxi directly from Chengdu to Sanxingdui Museum, which cost about 130-150. We went there in the afternoon~ Before we went, everyone said there were a lot of people, so we were prepared~ But in fact, I think the flow of people is normal, compared to the National Museum or Nanjing Museum, the flow of people is OK~
The exhibition at Sanxingdui is exquisite. We didn't choose to have a guide, but guessed by ourselves. The two of us had a wide range of imaginations, and it felt free and interesting to visit~ For example, we still walked around the exhibition hall for about three hours based on interest, so everyone must eat well before coming~ At the moment of leaving the museum, I was really hungry!

❤️About Longju Temple:
Carved beams and painted rafters, wooden dragons winding around, hence the name Longju Temple. It is said to have been built by the eighth ancestor of Zen Buddhism in the Tang Dynasty, Master Mazu Dao. The main hall was rebuilt during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are 10 murals painted in the second year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (1466) on the four walls of the hall. The murals depict the twelve round enlightened bodhisattvas, along with disciples, protectors, and donors.

Sanxingdui
It is usually packaged with the Panda Base for a visit, and it is recommended to join a group tour. This not only solves the transportation problem but also allows you to visit two places in one day. Plus, there is a tour guide to explain, which saves a lot of your time cost and allows you to play clearly.
We are a small group of three in our family, with a dozen people, sitting in a minibus, which will also pick up at the hotel. The cost is more than two hundred per person on average, less than eight hundred for a family. The seats and meals are very average, the car is quite broken and not very comfortable, and the food is even more average. It can only be said to be barely good. Probably because Sanxingdui is in Guanghan City, it is relatively remote and there are really no restaurants. The place to eat is quite simple, so if there is a more exquisite group, you should join the exquisite group.
The Sanxingdui and Panda Base are all guided by the tour guide. They explain while walking. It takes two and a half hours to queue to see Huahua. We decisively gave up and followed the tour guide to see many other pandas. I think they all look the same, so there is no need to insist on seeing Huahua. In the afternoon, I saw Sanxingdui, which is crowded with people and needs more guidance from the tour guide. Listening to the explanation and following you can quickly see the most essence. Although there are many people, with the guidance of the tour guide, you can see all that should be seen, and all that should be checked in are checked in.
During the holiday period, Sanxingdui and the Panda Base are both popular places with many students. It is recommended to avoid if possible. If it is unavoidable, like my family with a student, these places must be visited, then join a group tour, which will be more efficient.

Thematic Archaeological Site Museum
Sanxingdui Museum was founded in August 1992 and opened in October 1997. It is located at the northeast corner of the Sanxingdui site, a key national cultural relics protection unit, on the bank of the Yazi River west of Guanghan City. It is 40 kilometers south of Chengdu and 26 kilometers north of Deyang. It is a modern thematic archaeological site museum in China. The new Sanxingdui Museum is the largest single archaeological museum building in the southwest region. The Sanxingdui Museum has two exhibition halls with a display area of nearly 12,000 square meters. The total investment of the new Sanxingdui Museum is 1.433 billion yuan. The new museum is located in the Sanxingdui Museum and covers an area of 66 acres with a building area of 54,400 square meters. As of its opening, it is the largest single archaeological museum building in the southwest region, five times the size of the existing exhibition hall. In addition to the precious cultural relics unearthed in 1986 such as the bronze sacred tree moving to the new museum, there are also nearly 600 cultural relics meeting the audience for the first time, with a total of more than 1,500 pieces (sets) of pottery, bronze ware, jade ware, gold ware, ivory and other types of cultural relics on display, three times the number of original exhibits.

Guanghan Sanxingdui Museum
We booked for Monday, and when we were squeezed by a girl next to us, we heard her say: 'The experience is so poor!' Yes, although it is Monday, the flow of people is more than usual in the museum. After seeing the exhibits, we heard from the security staff that there were a lot fewer people than before. Even though there were many people, the exhibits were rich and we felt the trip was worthwhile. Just want to go back to Chunxi Road, originally wanted to take the tourist line, but it turned out to be a long queue Decided to take a taxi back for 50 per person

The same goes for jade articles, and then the four treasures of the museum are very exquisite and worth seeing

Date: December 3, 2023
Number of people: 3 people My husband and I took our eldest son
Cost: 100 (vehicle expense) +180 (two adults and one child scenic area ticket) +120 (40 per person for explanation) +260 (Yu Xi fresh beef hot pot) =660 (yuan)
DAY 1 8:00-17:00
Itinerary: Chengdu-Sanxingdui Museum Self-driving journey of 1 hour, arrived at Sanxingdui Museum at nine o'clock in the morning.
Attraction: Sanxingdui Museum
Ticket: Sanxingdui Museum 72 yuan/person, discount ticket: 36 yuan/person.
Business hours: 9:00-18:00
Catering: Yu Xi fresh beef hot pot, opened in the slaughterhouse, the place is very remote, eating beef is very bold, large pieces of beef, very fresh, chewy, very good. There are also two little rabbits in the yard, the baby feeds the rabbits and plays happily.
Parking: There is a paid parking lot opposite the Sanxingdui Museum. The parking place is land, dust is flying, and the car needs to be washed after returning.
Facilities: There are various snacks at the door, various food stalls, planned, neat, clean, beautiful, the overall impression is very good.
Suggestion: There are sales explainers everywhere at the door, it is very convenient to ask for explanations, the quality is also good, trustworthy.
Personal feelings: I took the eldest son to Sanxingdui in 2019. The impression at that time was that the management was chaotic and shabby. The eldest son was only three years old at that time. He didn't want to visit the museum, so he basically didn't visit and took the baby away. Four years later, I visited Sanxingdui again. The eldest son has grown up and listened to the tour guide with relish. I also have time to watch carefully. Sanxingdui built a new museum. The new museum is shaped with earth color and blue. The whole shape gives people the feeling of crossing the galaxy. The interior design of the museum is reasonable and atmospheric, the exhibits are displayed in a grand manner, and the viewing is very strong. The newly unearthed cultural relics are also wonderful. The cultural relics of the divine power era of the ancient Shu people displayed in the Sanxingdui Museum have no written records, but the artistic expression and creativity of the cultural relics are amazing, which is shocking. The communication between man and god, the imagination of the ancient Shu ancestors about flying to the sky three thousand years ago, seems to return to three thousand years ago through the cultural relics, to feel the respect for the gods.

I was wrong, how could I travel to Chengdu without visiting Sanxingdui
When I stood in the exhibition hall lined with many bronze masks
When I stood under the 4-meter-high bronze tree
When I passed by 1500 pieces of cultural relics from 3000-5000 years ago
I was deeply shocked
These are the brilliant historical culture
They are the treasures of our nation
They are also the pride of our ancient Shu ancestors in Sichuan
So how could you not go to Sanxingdui when you come to Chengdu.

The new museum of Sanxingdui opened in July
There were a lot of people during the summer vacation, and now there are relatively fewer
The total area of the new museum is 54,400 square meters
Just the display area is 22,000 square meters
There are more than 1500 cultural relics, and more than 600 are exhibited for the first time
If you take a serious tour, you can see it in one day
If you just take a quick look, it will take 3-5 hours

📚Features of the new museum
🔸The entrance of the new museum is fashionable and technologically advanced, and the link between the hall and the second floor exhibition hall is a super large spiral ramp (I dare not say it is a staircase) derived from the Eye of Ancient Shu
🔸There is also a huge ring hanging in the hall, like a halo, the guide said it was originally intended to hang a sculpture of a bronze man.

📚About the exhibition hall
1️⃣Century Dream
This museum on the first floor mainly talks about how Sanxingdui was discovered and some relatively not so amazing cultural relics.
Such as the stone wall with the three characters 'Yan San Tai', pottery, bronze ware, etc.
Kneeling man, jade knife, strong man sculpture, etc.
2️⃣Majestic Capital
This exhibition hall is still on the first floor, with more bronze wares, such as bronze standing figures, bronze vertical eye figures, gold masks, and gold scepters are all here
The gold scepter may be related to one of the ancient Shu kings, Fish and Bird
Because there are fish and bird symbols carved on it
3️⃣Heaven, Earth, Man, God
It's amazing, I don't know if you have read Shan Hai Jing, many of the cultural relics in this museum are somewhat related to Shan Hai Jing
Fusang Divine Tree, Bronze Qi, Exquisite Bronze Divine Altar, Turtle Back Grid, and 2.5-meter-high Bird Foot God Statue.

🎫Ticket: Sanxingdui ticket is 72 yuan
⏰Time: The exhibition hall is open from 8:30 to 18:00, I will go to the restoration hall next time
🚘How to get to Sanxingdui:
1, Take a car from the East Station to Guanghan, and then take a taxi directly
2, Take the subway line 3 to the Bell Tower, and then take a taxi for about 50 yuan
3, There is a bus to Guanghan at the Petroleum University Station on Line 3, usually every 40 minutes
If possible, please hire a professional guide, some things are really hard to understand by yourself!

Exploring the mysterious Sanxingdui
🏛️Exploring the mysterious Sanxingdui🏛️
📍Location: Sanxingdui Museum, Sichuan
Today I came to the Sanxingdui Museum in Sichuan, a place I have always longed for. I heard that this is an important site of ancient Chinese civilization, and I can't wait to explore it.
🔍Exploring ancient civilization sites🔍
Entering the museum, I was attracted by the exhibits in front of me. The exhibition displays a large number of cultural relics and archaeological discoveries. I saw many exquisite bronzes, jades, and pottery. Their craftsmanship is superb, which makes me admire the wisdom and skills of the ancients.
🌌Exploring the mysterious Sun Temple🌌
The most exciting thing for me is to visit the Sun Temple site. This huge architectural complex is the core of Sanxingdui civilization. I walked into it along the path of the site. The layout and structure of the temple are very ingenious, which made me admire the wisdom and architectural skills of the ancients.
📸Leave beautiful memories📸
There are many beautiful gardens and landscapes around the museum. I couldn't help but take out my camera to record these beautiful moments. The environment here is very beautiful, which makes people feel relaxed and happy.
🌟 The Sanxingdui Museum is an unforgettable trip. By visiting the museum, I have a deeper understanding of the charm of ancient Shu civilization and feel the wisdom and artistic talent of ancient people.

Why doesn't anyone explain clearly how to play Sanxingdui? I see people complaining in posts that it's not worth going to Sanxingdui
There are many people, the ticket price is expensive, I want to say if you just go in and look, you might indeed feel it's not worth it! Because Sanxingdui is the civilization and culture of ancient Shu history, if you don't have a deep historical background, you must ask for an explanation, otherwise you can't see anything! In addition, there are many people, you have to make a good strategy, you can really avoid the crowd.
Sanxingdui is in Guanghan City, Deyang, it takes 40 minutes to get to Chengdu. Because we wanted to go as soon as the door opened in the morning, we didn't take the subway, we went directly by carpooling, you can try posting a post, 4 people 25 per person, arrive 5 minutes early, you might shake off more than 200 people.
2 Sanxingdui tickets, 5 days in advance, open at 20:00 in the evening, be sure to fill in the ID information of all the people going in advance,
At the point, just click to buy, don't exit, the ticket will be gone when you go in again.
3 The opening time is 8:30 in the morning, but before 8 o'clock, there is already a long queue at the door, it is absolutely advantageous to go in early.
4 Now there are morning and afternoon sessions, buy tickets 5 days in advance, night sessions are released at 15:00 on the same day. There are fewer people in the morning and close to closing time, there are too many people after 10 o'clock. ⑤ About the explanation:
The official explanation of the group is 30 per person, turn right at the ticket check gate, queue on the first floor of the comprehensive building, there is a sign, whether it is a voice explanation or a manual explanation, don't queue wrong, we were at 9:10 that day, the explanation for the whole day can be queued up.
When you get the small ticket for the explanation, there is a team number on it, you don't need to pay, you go shopping first, and come to the first floor to pay and pick up the headphones when it's time, you need to deposit

This is the first time I walked into the Sanxingdui Cultural Relics. I was completely shocked before these huge bronze statues with mysterious and supernatural high noses and deep faces.
