Down one of the side roads in the beach resort of Nungwi is this cute French bakery which is very authentic! The bread here is amazing 🤤 and the additional add-ons are a great to have on top. They also offer a lot of different smoothies and teas which are all fresh and delicious! Zanzibar is one of my favourite African destinations. It is a slice of paradise indeed and its famous for its beautiful white sand beaches, turquoise water and rich local culture. The East coast serves some of the best views on the island and this is where the best hotels are located. My favourite ones were Upendo and Zanziblue. The incredibly chilled vibe of both places made my trip even more enjoyable. We avoided staying in big resorts while in Zanzibar, and instead picked beach guest houses serving some of the best local food. One of the top things to do on the island is visiting the Tortoise sanctuary. This was definitely a highlight for me! #zanzibar #tanzania

Crystal-clear visibility, colorful fish, and intricate coral formations—like swimming in a natural aquarium. If you love marine life, bring a waterproof camera or GoPro. It’s well worth it. 🍴Back on board, the crew prepared a delicious local meal right on the boat—grilled seafood, tropical fruits, and traditional sides. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I was at Zanzibar for less than 24hrs just for this experience. It costs less than most places and offers breathtaking views over turquoise waters and luscious island landscapes. The instructors are very experienced and the ones I met had jumped over 8k+ times within the past 15 years. Getting There - Skydive Zanzibar is located in Kendwa Rocks Hotel. You can either book a room there or stay nearby in any of the other lodges or resort. Kendwa Rocks Hotel is located approximately 1-1.5hr drive from the airport. Riu Palace Zanzibar, a superb hotel with excellent conditions and a wonderful beach. Upon arriving at the resort, we entered a different world, completely different from what we had seen so far. The hotel is totally different from all the ones we have seen before: the reception is separate in a small building, just it and nothing else, outside there are some very interesting armchairs where you can wait to check in, close to a bar (lobby bar) which was also in another separate building. A gentleman picked us up with a golf cart, with all our luggage, and took us to our rooms. The hotel is built like an amphitheater on three levels, so all rooms have an ocean view. Each room has a terrace with chairs and a table, but also a large lawn area: I can't explain it very well, so I'll post pictures for you to understand, but I've never seen such an ingenious construction, made so that everyone benefits from a superb view every day, paradise on earth. The room was superb, large, with a canopy bed, a bathroom with everything you need and something new: here, the maids came twice a day, once in the morning and the second time when people went to dinner (they made the bed, arranged the curtains on the canopy, sprayed mosquito spray, and tidied up). Employees like those in this resort I have never met, attentive, smiling, ready to satisfy any request.
