#timetotravel Our relatives took us to this hidden beach and it didn't disappoint us. The beach, the sand and the water are good enough in Philippine beach standard. I was happy to see that there are some foreign tourists too when we were there but you could still feel the tranquility of this place. There is also a jumping cliff if you are keen and adventurous enough to try but i didn't. ahahaha. way too high for me. So, I just settled on snorkeling. You can bring your food here if you don't want to pay extortionate food from their restaurant. Entrance ticket: 30 pesos (but double check, they might have changed it now) Address: Olang Maria Siquijor. The best way to come here: rent scooter for around 350 a day. Not bad. I could feel the biting chill as we whisked along the narrow passage going to Salagdoong beach in Siquijor. The afternoon sun was barely peeking through the amalgamation of leaves and branches forming an archway. It was quiet. All around us were molave trees rose to the sky. We basked in the silence as we drove around and admired thick trunks and roots flowing like tiny rivers. The occasional patches of sunlight breaking through the canopy made the silent forest all the more magical. It was so beautiful that it was hard for me to imagine that this was not a forest made exclusively by nature. Infact, it was man-made.

If you come to Salagdoong Beach for a thrilling cliff dive daring, please try it; if you are not timid, I will try you, otherwise you are here, hahaha. Just pay 80 pesos for a ticket and just play! There are actually two diving platforms here, one 7 meters high and one 10 meters high. Really, to play with this thing, don't think about it, and jump into the sea with a brain.
