Fukuoka Travel Guide
1. Don't just visit Tokyo when you come to Japan! I recently went on a trip to Fukuoka, a mystical place surrounded by blue seas and green forests. This trip was definitely as good as my trip to Osaka.
2. Transportation: There are direct flights from Shanghai to Fukuoka. From Beijing, you can take a flight to Fukuoka with a stopover in Dalian (CA953/CA954). After October 27, Air China will resume daily flights from Beijing Capital Airport to Dalian (stopover) to Fukuoka. Please refer to the airline's official website for specific flight information.
3. Travel Time: 2 days [2-Day Fukuoka Itinerary] D1: Itoshima (Keya-no-Oto Park, Meoto Iwa in Sakurai, lunch, coconut tree swing) → BOSS E·ZO FUKUOKA - Fukuoka Tower - Yatai Dinner D2: Horseback riding on the beach, Mojiko Retro, Miyajidake Shrine, Mount Sarakura
4. Exploring Itoshima: Keya-no-Oto Park, known as the "Totoro Forest," is like stepping into a fairy tale. The Meoto Iwa in Sakurai, with its white torii gate, is a romantic destination that has witnessed young love. Enjoy the sea breeze on your face as you swing from a coconut tree. All your worries will disappear with the wind.
5. BOSS E·ZO FUKUOKA & Fukuoka Tower: This super cool complex combines entertainment and fun. It features teamLab Forest, one of the top ten light shows in the world, a Sanrio theme park, AR games, and a rooftop swing roller coaster. It's incredibly fun! Afterward, head to Fukuoka Tower and overlook the entire city from the top. The dazzling city lights are as beautiful as the stars.
6. Yatai Dinner: Experience Fukuoka's Yatai culture in the evening. These food stalls offer the most authentic Kyushu flavors, from ramen to gyoza, each one mouthwatering. Here, you can not only enjoy delicious food but also immerse yourself in the local lifestyle and cultural atmosphere.
7. Horseback Riding on the Beach: Put on your riding gear and experience the unforgettable sensation of riding a horse along the beach as the waves crash against the shore. Miyajidake Shrine: This ancient shrine features the "Path of Light" leading straight to the sea. When the sun sets at the end of the path, it's a sacred and beautiful sight. The "Mirror Sea": When the tide recedes, the water becomes as calm as a mirror, reflecting the sky and surrounding scenery. It's as beautiful as a painting.
