Every click of the camera captured stunning photos that could easily be used as wallpapers. Here, I not only enjoyed the breathtaking natural scenery but also felt the rich historical and cultural atmosphere. Miko dressed in traditional attire moved around, adding a touch of mystery to the scene. Although the two-hour wait was tough, the amazing photos and unforgettable experience made it all worth it! The store opens at 12:00, and I arrived about 15 minutes before opening, but there was a long line by that time 😅 It opens until 18:00, but it looks like it will be sold out by then 😅 People enter the store two at a time. I waited about 30-40 minutes. There are seven kinds of ohagi available at all times. In addition to the standard "tsubuan" and "smooth bean paste," there is a seasonal daily ohagi that changes every day. These are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. A cute waiter-like staff member packs them into a bento box, and you can choose your favorite ribbon at the end. Normal ohagi is 180 yen, petal ohagi is 330 yen, and the price varies depending on the type. I bought all kinds. This year, there were so many people going to Meguro River and Chidorigafuchi that it was impossible to take pictures. I found a few niche cherry blossom viewing spots where I could enjoy the cherry blossoms alone without having to crowd around and take pictures. I'd like to share them with everyone. 1 Shibuya Sakuragaoka Town (Figure 2.3) There are cherry blossoms on both sides of the street, and there are far fewer people than in Meguro River! Across the street from FamilyMart Shinjuku Totsuka Police Station, there is a whole cherry tree where you can take photos of a cluster of flowers. There are very few people and you can take photos easily. 2 Chidorigafuchi Park (Figure 4.5) After exiting Kudanshita Station or Hanzomon Exit, there are cherry blossoms along both sides of the river. You can also experience boating. It is okay if you don’t have a ticket. 3 Sheren Park (Figures 7.8.9.10.11.12) The cherry blossoms and blue butterfly flowers 💙💙 are both very beautiful. The double cherry blossoms are very large. There are especially many cherry trees, and the flowers bloom very low, so you can take pictures standing under the cherry trees without stepping on a ladder. Recently, they are lit up at night, which is very dreamy! Moreover, the third best yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo, Sutaminaen, is nearby, so you can go there to eat after viewing the night cherry blossoms. 4 Roppongi 1-chome (Figure 13.14) Exit Roppongi 1-chome Station and walk on the overpass to the popular camera spot La! Sakura Shrine is located in Setagaya Ward. It is known for its beautiful Kawazu cherry blossoms in spring, and is also famous as the town of Sazae-san. What is less known is that the current chief priest was once a very successful rugby player. In honor of this, the entire shrine seems to show its support when there is a rugby tournament. The shrine has been distributing "Rugby World Cup Celebration Goshuin" since September 8th, and jerseys with the autographs of the Japanese national team are on display in the shrine office!
