After hastily checking into the hotel, General Fan couldn't wait to take the eldest and the second child to sleep in the air conditioning. The old party member of the family, Grandpa Qixie, went to visit the Gu Wenchang Memorial Hall next to the hotel, which is a base for red education. I kept an eye on the canyon riverbed outside the window until 4 pm, when the riverbed was shaded by the huge mountain shadows. It was the perfect time to play in the water. Our whole family quickly ran to the riverbed with buckets and water guns, playing with the two little ones by the stream. The morning in the mountains is filled with fresh air, and the mood is incredibly peaceful and comfortable. My parents and I wandered around the mountain village next to the hotel. At this time, I noticed that the roofs of the village houses were all made of slate rock from the Taihang Mountains, which is in line with the old saying 'rely on the mountain to live off the mountain'. This place is more like an art gallery than a mountain village, as it receives a large number of artists and sketchers every year, and the walls of every house in the village are covered with works by various painters. The Taihang Grand Canyon is composed of three core scenic areas: 'Peach Blossom Valley', 'Taihang Sky Road', and 'Wang Xiang Rock'.
