Hong Kong Hiking: Lin Ma Hang Mine Cave
There are the Hong Hua Ling Country Park and the Lin Ma Hang Country Trail. Starting from Dan Shui Hang and Shan Zui in Sha Tau Kok, you can walk the entire Hong Hua Ling Country Trail and Lin Ma Hang Country Trail to visit all the special check-in attractions. The Honghualing hiking route is about 10 kilometers long and takes about 5 hours. Hikers do not need to apply for restricted area permits.
The Honghualing Trail passes by abandoned military ruins and then leads visitors to the high Honghualing Observation Deck; the main attraction of the Lianmakeng Trail is of course the Lianmakeng Mine Cave, which has now been reopened and hikers can freely enter and exit Cave No. 6, nicknamed the "Hall".
In the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department's comprehensive difficulty rating, these two hiking trails in Red Flower Ridge Country Park are both rated 4 stars for difficulty. There are straight and endless "ladders to heaven" on the road, which will make hikers sweat and gasp for breath; when you reach the top, the mountain path is undulating, with ups and downs, and some hiking trails are not wide, and there are cliff jungles on the other side, so it is recommended to do it according to your ability.
