Vangrong is located between the cities of Vientiane and Luang Prabang. It is a typical karst landform famous for its numerous caves. The quiet Nam Song River flows by the town, which is very comfortable. Relying on these natural advantages, many tourist projects have been developed, attracting many foreign tourists. Many European and American tourists like to live here for a long time, playing in the water, climbing mountains and hiking during the day, and dancing in night markets and bars at night. As for those of us who don’t like nightlife, we only stayed here for one day and took part in a cost-effective one-day tour at 100 yuan per person. We experienced kayaking, tire rafting, the Blue Lagoon and many other visiting and experiencing projects. I personally think it is very worthwhile! [GlassesUU] Tire rafting can also be understood as a cave exploration. Sitting on a tire and using ropes to enter the cave from the water, it feels a bit like the Tomb Raiders. Since you will get wet, it is best to prepare towels and clothes in advance. [GlassesUU] Kayaking on the Nansong River is very fun. It’s several kilometers of water. If you are lucky enough to be in the same boat with the tour guide, it will save a lot of effort. The scenery along the way is great, but be sure to wear sunscreen! There are a few places where the water is turbulent and there is a risk of capsizing, but fortunately the water is shallow and there is basically no danger. [GlassesUU] The Blue Lagoon is a must-see attraction in Vangrong. It is divided into several areas, and different groups go to different places. Some areas can only be visited by yourself. The water here is rich in minerals, blue in color, mysterious and beautiful. The best part is that you can just jump in and play in the water. [GlassesUU] Vangrong also offers many activities such as hot air balloons, motorboats, jungle flying, rock climbing, etc. The key is that the prices are really low, making it a very suitable place for outdoor adventures.

I definitely wanted to try tubing in Vang Vieng, Laos. An activity where you ride on a tire and float down the Nam Song River 🏞️🛞 I made a reservation the day before at a local travel agency! It seems that in the past, you could float as you pleased, but due to a number of accidents, now groups need to finish together, so you can participate with peace of mind ☺️ There are bars to rest at various points along the river, where you can drink, dance, talk, and gradually become friends with everyone 🫶🏽 Our group was the type that just wanted to have fun, so we were floated for 6 hours lol (it was supposed to be 2-3 hours) It was supposed to finish by noon, but it was in the evening, so we were able to see the hot air balloons ♡ By the way, the final finish point was a river in the city, so we were able to walk back to the hotel.
