Lake Brienz 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 From Interlaken Ost, you can take buses or trains to both shores (⚠️they're not connected - you'll need to return to Interlaken to switch). This was the most stunning lake we saw, best visited before sunset when the water turns a gorgeous sapphire blue. Bus stops: Crash Landing on You filming location/Tenn/Matte Train stop: Brienzer Uferpromenade Spiez 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Lake Thun isn't as vividly blue as Lake Brienz, with deeper hues. Spiez town is quiet and peaceful. Stayed two nights at Belvédère Strandhotel which has indoor/outdoor pools and a small scenic viewpoint - very photogenic! Zermatt 🌟🌟🌟🌟 1.5-hour train from Spiez plus 30-minute cogwheel train to Matterhorn. This high-altitude town is chilly - pack extra layers. Lauterbrunnen 🌟🌟🌟🌟 40-minute train from Grindelwald. Our local friend highly recommended us to go, Mount Rigi, where the shortest route is to arrive Arth Goldau, then take tram to mount top. Tram fare has a big discount after 4pm, it is not an issue when you visit in Summer time as sunset is almost 9pm. Spent 40 mins in a classic tram with natural view, then it brings you reach the top spot. Mush less tourists as compared to the nearest mount Pilatus.
