I went to Shanghai for 2 nights and 3 days 🇨🇳 Day 1 I arrived at Centrair early, so I went to Flight of Dreams ✨ From Terminal 1 to Flight of Dreams There were lots of delicious Nagoya gourmets 😋 I ate my way around! There were also lots of experience spaces I visited the cockpit of an aircraft that was actually flying! I flew to Shanghai from Terminal 2 on Spring Airlines ✈️ I asked for a car to pick me up from the airport, so it was easy to get there! The hotel I stayed at was the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel There was Yuyuan Garden right in front of me, and I could walk there to enjoy it! After that, I went to the Bund to enjoy the neon town, but it was turned off! The lights went out at 10pm 😭 It's a good idea to know this in advance if you're going! Day 2 To Shanghai Disneyland! I entered an hour before opening with early entry. There were no people so it was easy to take photos, and I was able to ride the Zootopia attraction without having to wait in line. I ate a lot while watching the day show and the parade 😋😋 At night, I had time until the ILLUMINATE castle show, so I went to see Mickey 💕 The night show was really moving. On the way back, I realized that I had left my luggage in a locker in the park due to an unexpected emergency 🚨 It was already 10pm at this point... I asked the security guards and they told me to come tomorrow I reluctantly went to the hotel 🏨 Day 3 I left for Disney early in the morning to pick up my luggage! I took the shuttle bus to the park 🚌 I'm glad it was there safely 💕 I decided not to use the lockers in the park anymore lol Since I had time before my flight I went shopping and had lunch at Disney Town No matter where I ate, the Chinese food was too delicious! #chinatravel I spent three nights at the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel and it worked out really well for my trip. The location is super convenient if you want to explore the old town area. Yu Garden is just steps away and the metro station is right across the street which made getting around easy. The room was clean and had a good amount of space. The bed was comfortable and I slept well every night. The bathroom was modern and the rain shower had great water pressure. WiFi worked fine throughout my stay. Staff were helpful and check in was smooth. They were able to answer my questions and help with directions which I appreciated. The rooftop bar had an awesome view of the skyline and was a nice spot to relax in the evening. I didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment there. Overall this hotel gave me everything I needed for a short city trip. I’d be happy to stay again.

This time I booked the Renaissance Shanghai Yuyuan Hotel, which was really great and comfortable. It's close to the MRT, surrounded by delicious food, and most importantly, there was a receptionist named Ellen. Shanghai is an impressive, huge city, unique and like nothing else. Walking in the local parks feels as if you are Mulan from the cartoon, surrounded by peaceful ponds, elegant pavilions, and ancient trees whispering stories.

It was a very tiring trip but worth it. I started by flying to Shanghai alone and then met my boyfriend there. I started my first trip by going to bed first! LOL After waking up, I made my first trip to The Bund by train. When I arrived, the view was very beautiful. The city was clean. There were people taking pictures of me like a Chinese person. Then I went to Hangzhou. The atmosphere was very good. It was very natural and there were many activities to do. It was very walkable but exciting. I went to the temple and continued to the walking street while it was raining. But when it rains, the place is even more beautiful. The food is delicious. It's cheaper to order it yourself. Then I went to Disneyland on a rainy day. But fight! I walked a lot and got wet. I played 8 rides, which was worth it, but my legs were sore. I also waited to see the fireworks with millions of people until the end. I went for only 4 days and 3 nights and still didn't finish everything. The room uses a lot of bamboo weaving elements, and there’s a Haipai-style gramophone-shaped table lamp by the bed. I brewed the Nine-Bend Red Plum tea prepared in the room, stretched out on the sofa watching the view—so comfortable I didn’t want to leave. 🍜Haipai flavors on the tip of the tongue I ate breakfast at the Ran Restaurant until my belly was full! The local pan-fried buns had a crispy bottom and juicy filling that burst with every bite; the freshly made small wontons had thin skins and lots of filling—I ate three bowls in a row. Before leaving, I made a special stop at the Renaissance Pavilion Chinese restaurant to check in and ordered crab roe xiaolongbao. One sip was so fresh it felt heavenly, and even I, who don’t like sweets, became a fan of the osmanthus rice cake! 🏊‍♀️A healing corner in the bustling city I didn’t expect such great fitness facilities in a downtown hotel! The gym is fully equipped, and the floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Yu Garden. Running while enjoying the garden view makes exercising a pleasure. The 25-meter heated pool has a starry ceiling, and after swimming, I went to the adjacent sauna room to steam away all my fatigue. 🤩A heartwarming little episode I accidentally left my charger in the room when checking out. Just as I got downstairs, I received a call. The staff not only kept it safe but also personally delivered it to the lobby. Before I left, they even gave me two packs of Shanghai’s special pear syrup candies for the road. Feeling remembered like this was truly heartwarming! 💡Real stay experience: Strongly recommend choosing the Yu Garden view room! The scenery is completely different by day and night, and every photo looks beautiful. The hotel cooperates with Yu Garden, so guests get ticket discounts—remember to ask the front desk. The rooftop bar’s night view is amazing; be sure to book a window seat early. This stay experience was simply legendary! Next time I come to Shanghai, I will definitely revisit! #ShanghaiItinerary There is an embroidered round fan shop in Yu Garden. Every piece of embroidered fan inside is a beautiful work and is worth appreciating. But the price is very, very expensive, you can just appreciate it with your eyes and keep it in your heart I thought they sold some delicious food there, like the Northeastern big fried noodles, the meat was very tender! The strawberries are very sweet and big.
