The Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore is really small
There are three Red Dot Design Museums in the world. The first one is in Germany, the second one is in Singapore, and the newest one is in Xiamen.
The Red Dot Museum is located at Marina Bay in Singapore, surrounded by a nice environment and scenery. The building itself is a minimalist modern structure made of steel and glass curtain walls.
The Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore is really small, haha, you can probably finish visiting in about half an hour.
Visitors here are likely to be interested in product design. The permanent exhibition on the second floor has some physical products that have won the Red Dot Award, and a considerable part is just explanatory panels; the first floor is the Red Dot Shop, selling Red Dot award-winning products and beverages. You can also experience some very well-designed products in the shop.
After purchasing a ticket, visitors will be given a card as an admission ticket, remember to return it after the visit.

Lesser-known check-in spots in Singapore, each one is very photogenic!
I shared some traditional Singapore tour routes a few days ago, today let's go for some lesser-known and photogenic places~
📍Red Dot Design Museum Singapore
Located in the center of Singapore, the museum is not big, but it's filled with high-end designs. You can understand cutting-edge ideas from an artistic perspective, and also understand the new world from a technological perspective. It's a great resting spot (even better for sheltering from the rain), but you need to buy a ticket~
📍Candylicious
After visiting the S.E.A Aquarium in Sentosa, you will see this candy house while strolling down the commercial street. The large store is filled with brightly colored candies, and you can't help but feel happy as soon as you enter. It's also very photogenic, and you can take away some cute souvenirs when you leave~
📍Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
This place is relatively far, almost to Malaysia, but it's worth to come and feel the temperament of Singapore's high-end institutions. The architectural design of the entire campus is also worth exploring, from the teaching buildings to the flower gardens and green plants, the design is very ingenious.
Finally, when you come to Singapore, you must check in at their Universal Studios. As you know, each Universal has its own characteristics, and Singapore can let you feel the full tropical style.

Red dot design museum
Situated a short walk away from the Marina Bay Sands shopping mall, the Red Dot Design Museum is actually not just a museum but a retail and dining space as well! The items here are very accessible commodities, such as cup coasters, jewellery, bags, vacuum jugs and many more. But what is interesting is that they are designed very ingeniously and make for good gifts!
Even if you are not looking to make a purchase, you can still browse these retail items and read the designer’s thoughts via the iPad behind them. Upstairs, there is a proper exhibition space with art works on display too. Within this space, there is also a cafe where you can grab some local desserts with coffee or tea as well!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

💌 Red Dot Design Museum
A nice and cozy art museum at Marina Bay area and it is built after an award-winning design. The roof and steel structures are something to lookout for It also has many designer items for sale and a cute cafe on the ground floor. There are different types of exhibitions and I recommend you bring your Valentine date a visit to the Red Dot Design Museum. It closes at 7pm so after your date, you can catch the sunset over Marina Bay. An adult ticket will cost $10 and it includes a $5 shopping voucher at their store too.

Fun at the Museum
#amusementpark
A free playground in front of the Red Dot Design Museum. It is fun to visit the Red Dot Design Museum to experience the world of designs. The children had fun looking at proto-types and the red dot design winning projects. There is an interactive zone for the children to experience designing too. This Red Dot Design is an international product design and before the products are being produced, the designers will have a proto-type and these winning proto-types are displayed in this museum. There is also a cafe for visitors to relax and admire the architecture. The children can go outdoor and play at the playground

Red Dot Design Museum is unique. I went there with my family. We went through each of the show piece and read the description of each creative piece, taking time to appreciate the creativity of the creator. After which, we chill at their cafe where we relax and chat.

Stepping into the Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore feels like entering a maze of creativity, where each exhibit radiates a unique light of inspiration. The white walls highlight the modern design pieces, showcasing the profound impact of design on daily life, from everyday items to cutting-edge technology.
Every corner of the museum is filled with surprises. A minimalist lamp seems to tell the story of light and shadow, while a meticulously crafted chair stands like a piece of art in the exhibition hall. The design language here is not only innovative but also finds a delicate balance between functionality and aesthetics.
In the interactive exhibition area, I personally tried assembling a creative puzzle, deeply feeling the designers' dedication and ingenuity in every detail. Playground outside Red Dot Design Museum
#familytrips2024
The playground outside the red dot design museum is one that is very popular among the children. They enjoyed their time here having all the fun, running around and climbing around the area . If you are visiting the marina bay area, be sure to bring them here. While the children are playing, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Singapore landmarks here. The place is free admission and is there 24/7. Our dream destination is to visit Okinawa. We would like to visit their aquarium and try out their local authentic dishes there for our future family trips.

Singapore
Singapore check-in # Red Dot Design Museum is super fun to visit.
✅Must experience:
Took a stroll during the holiday and checked in at the Red Dot Design Museum~
The Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore is the carrier of the Red Dot Design Concept Award. In the exhibitions, permanent collections, and museum shops held in the museum, various designs that have won the Red Dot Award can be seen.
The museum is located in Marina Bay, Singapore. When I went there, it was the time of sunset in the afternoon, and the surrounding scenery was very beautiful!
The building is designed by Cox Architecture Studio, with structural steel materials and a full glass curtain wall forming the geometric appearance of the venue. The ticket price for one person is 10 Singapore dollars, and a 5 Singapore dollar discount coupon for the Red Dot Shop will be given as a gift.
On the first floor, there is mainly a Red Dot store, where all the products are Red Dot award-winning except for coffee and beverages. The second floor is the main exhibition hall.
❤️Recommendation reason:
A museum with a geometric shape and a full glass curtain wall, consisting of two floors. It showcases many award-winning works designed by Red Dot. The first floor is a free exhibition hall with many small toys that children can play with. The second floor is a paid exhibition hall, mainly displaying design concepts and prototype exhibitions, without any interactive toys. If you bring children, it's enough to visit the free area on the first floor.
In addition, there is a café and tables and chairs for resting inside the museum. There is also a playground at the entrance, which is very popular among children.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday 12:00-20:00
