Qu Yuan Temple is located in Xiangjiaping, on the north bank of the Yangtze River, 1.5 km east of Zigui County. It is also called Qingliegong Temple, covering an area of nearly 30 mu. It was built to commemorate Qu Yuan. Qu Yuan Temple was first built in the 15th year of Yuanhe in the Tang Dynasty (820). When the Gezhouba Water Conservancy Hub was built in 1978, it was moved to Xiangjiaping and rebuilt according to its original appearance. Qu Yuan Temple is dominated by Qu Yuan culture and is a key area in the Three Gorges Reservoir area that can fully combine the protection and utilization of material and intangible cultural heritage. In 2006, it was announced as the sixth batch of "National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units".
