Compared with Quanzhou West Street, I prefer this seriously underestimated traditional village
Hi~ I’m Xiao Xiao Tian, here to help dig for treasure again
This article is a special reminder for those who plan to come to Quanzhou for the Spring Festival.
‼ ️West Street and Zhongshan Road are certainly lively and worth visiting
But on normal days, there are a lot of people walking around, and during the New Year and other festivals, there are even more people lining up to go shopping.

Discover a small ancient village in Quanzhou and take a leisurely tour and take photos
After more than 600 years of vicissitudes, this complex of over 100 ancient buildings in southern Fujian that integrates Chinese and Western styles is really seriously underestimated!
-
📝|It is recommended to collect it quickly🌟Good🌟, at your sisters and friends
If you are going to Quanzhou during the Spring Festival, it would be a pity to miss this place.

📍|Quanzhou Jinjiang Wulin Traditional Village
🚘|Take a taxi from Jinjiang Airport or Quanzhou South Station for about 20 minutes
It takes 40 minutes by taxi from Quanzhou city, or by bus.
⏰|Spend most of the day strolling
🎫|No tickets or reservations required, free tour

Wulin Village is a representative hometown of overseas Chinese in southern Fujian. Overseas Chinese go abroad to work hard.
Return to hometown to build, bring Western and Nanyang styles back to hometown, integrate into the traditional culture of southern Fujian... filled with the strong homesickness of overseas Chinese ❤️

📷|Several of my favorite photo spots:
✅ Chaodong Building: P2, 6
The landmark building at the entrance is the largest western-style building in the whole village. People stand at the door to take pictures. Remember to walk inside and stand in the middle of the courtyard to take pictures.
·
✅Qiaopi Pavilion: P8, 12, 14
The Spanish-style building is built with red bricks from southern Fujian. You can go to the second floor for free to take panoramic photos of the ancient village. You can stand on the balcony to take photos, or take photos of the ground from a high position.
·
✅ Gun Tower: P5, 9
You don’t have to stand below to take pictures of the tower shape. You can take pictures of the distant view from the road in front of the Overseas Chinese Remittance Museum with the help of the ancient village, which will give you a more layered feel.
·
✅Five-storey house: P7
It is named after the five-story building. If you stand at a farther intersection, you can take a full picture.
·
✅Dewei House:
There is a big banyan tree with twisted roots in the ancient residence in southern Fujian. It is very beautiful. The locals are used to calling it "Banyan Root House". If you can't find it, just ask.
·
✅Grassland on the left side of the visitor center: P4
It's nice to take pictures sitting on the wood under the tree. There is a Heyue Cultural Center behind it. You can go to the second floor to take pictures.
·
✅Ancient House Alleys:
Just stroll around, some streets, hills, alleys, stages, experience halls, cafes, and cultural and creative stores are good for taking photos🤣

‼ ️|Some playing tips:
▪️You can experience the Xiapu hairpins that are everywhere in Quanzhou, and you can also experience the Nanyang-style Nyonya dress-up photo shoot
▪️You can go upstairs to visit the Gun Tower, 30/person, and you can see the whole ancient village from a high place. Personally, if you want to save money, just go directly to the Qiaopi Museum
▪️There will be folk performances during holidays. It must be nice to experience the traditional Minnan New Year atmosphere during the Spring Festival🏮
