Historic buildings
Zhenwu Temple was built in the period of Taizu of the Li Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,000 years. The whole building is magnificent, with many exquisite reliefs and decorations on the walls. It is mainly dedicated to the Taoist Emperor Xuan Tianwu. In the main hall, there is a statue of Emperor Zhenwu made of black copper. The statue is 3.7 meters high and weighs 4 tons. There are many couplets and inscriptions written in Chinese characters inside and outside the temple, which are very Chinese-style, showing the profound influence of Chinese culture on Vietnam. Of course, some parts have also been decorated with Vietnamese characteristics.
