The street in Guiyang is so delicious! Qingyun Road Snack Street
If you were to choose a southwestern city as a travel destination, Guiyang would definitely be an unavoidable presence. Like Chengdu and Chongqing, Guiyang has a local street charm known as 'the smoke and fire of life'.
The 'smoke and fire' of Guiyang lies in the mobile stalls weaving through the streets and alleys, the brightly lit streets until late at night, the night life of the people of Guiyang after dark, walking on the streets, walking in the parks, eating in the snack streets. An ordinary day, pulsating with the vitality of the entire city.
Have a sour soup hotpot at Tianhe Pool, then head straight to the central district of Guiyang at night. Jiaxiu Tower is a must-visit (and a good way to digest food in preparation for the next stop). I remember visiting Jiaxiu Tower during the day last year, but I prefer it when the lights are on. Of course, tonight's final destination is Qingyun Market, not far from Jiaxiu Tower!
Although every city has its own internet-famous street, Qingyun Market always makes me linger because it's too good to stroll around, with everything from food and drink to entertainment. I have no regrets about revisiting Qingyun Road!
Qingyun Road snack recommendations:
✅ Lao Dongmen intestine and tripe noodles, a representative Guiyang snack
✅ Qingyan snacks: marinated pig's trotters/mung bean curd
✅ Huaxi beef noodles, no need to say more, a must-eat
✅ Amei Siwa doll, everything can be wrapped with the soulful Zhe'er Gen
✅ Kangjia fruit bean curd, a cool snack for summer
✅ Zhouji grilled fish, this restaurant is very busy with lots of people
✅ Lei's tofu garden, highly recommended for the bursting sensation, super delicious
✅ Luo Yu ice slurry, an intangible cultural heritage food that relieves the heat
✅ Guoba rice cake, the sweet flavor is the most delicious
………………
In addition to the 'thief many' foods, Qingyun Market also offers intangible cultural heritage experiences such as sugar blowing and clay figure pinching, as well as various handmade cultural and creative shops. The colorful neon signs of Qingyun Road are a major feature for photo-taking and checking in!

Impressions of Guiyang | Qingyun Market, such a great place to visit! I really don't regret coming here!
We arrived in Guiyang by car at almost 11 p.m.~
All the way, I was thinking that I must go to Qingyun Market for a fun stroll!
On the way to Qingyun Market, Guiyang city was already quiet in the late night, which made our expectant hearts a bit more apprehensive...
Unexpectedly, as soon as we turned into Qingyun Road, it felt as if we had traveled back in time to dinner time~
The whole street was lined with parked cars...
Most of the nearby parking lots were already full...
Every restaurant was crowded with people...
The entire market was filled with laughter, eating and drinking, photo taking, and people shopping leisurely...
The whole Qingyun Market includes: snacks, restaurants, beverages, cultural and creative products, trendy goods, toys, souvenirs, and more...
There are very sincere merchants, as well as stores with varying prices and qualities;
There are local brands that are very popular, as well as internet-famous ones that everyone chases after;
There are things I've never heard of or seen before, as well as common trinkets...
‼️Tips:
🔅Although the market operates 24 hours, all shops basically have their own business hours, so it's recommended not to go too late
🔅To be honest, not all internet-famous places are good to eat or visit, it really depends on the specific situation and personal preferences
🔅Parking is really too difficult, I do not recommend driving. We stayed at a nearby hotel, walking, taking a taxi, or cycling are all very convenient, no need to waste time and energy on parking
🔅For those who like snacks but have a small stomach, don't be too greedy. It's better to buy the smallest portion of the things you want to try and then choose a variety of categories
🔅The atmosphere is really good, truly a nice place to visit👍

Spring Outing to the Fortress (VII): Qingyun Marketplace
"Qingyun Marketplace" is transformed from the old factory area of the former Guiyang Knitting Factory. Riding on the 'east wind' of urban renewal policies, it has shifted from an old factory building into a new landmark for tourist check-ins.
In terms of decoration style, the marketplace combines traditional and modern elements, preserving the old factory's appearance while presenting photos with elements of old Guiyang in a modern way throughout the space. Snow cream, grain and oil shops, supply and marketing cooperatives... they all engrave the 'traces of memory' of old Guiyang. At the same time, modern trendy elements have been added to extend the urban memories and the atmosphere of everyday life.
Upon entering from the north gate, there is a popular photo check-in area, which can also be described as a hub of trends. With different styles of wall designs and a wealth of scene props, the atmosphere is full, attracting many people to take photos to remember.
"Qingyun Marketplace" is mainly divided into three modules: dining, cultural and creative, and entertainment. There is not only a business KTV, but also more than a dozen bars of various types, including pubs, live houses, and dining bars.
The nostalgic and bustling food area gathers many shops selling Guizhou's famous snacks such as intestine and tripe noodles, beef noodles, crispy duck, iron pot dishes, and barbecue, as if stepping into the lively snack night market of old Guiyang city that buzzes all night long in the last century.
The 'cyberpunk' style dazzling lights, with their strong visual impact, draw fashion-conscious young people who love trendy socializing into lively party bars, sports venues, and esports internet cafes... The youthful energy and trendy playfulness collide to create the marketplace's 'young vibe'.
In the quiet cultural and creative experience area, there are plenty of unique and stylish coffee bars, handicraft experience shops, and intangible cultural heritage creative stores. Here, citizens and tourists can enjoy the slow life of urban leisure.
In terms of business selection, the marketplace not only has intangible cultural heritage Mawei embroidery and teahouses hidden in the city, but also quiet flower shops, pottery workshops, and grocery stores filled with antiques, calligraphy, paintings, and porcelain ornaments in the bustling market. Here, there is nothing you can't find, only what you can't imagine.
Qingyun Marketplace
Fork in the Road
All night markets across the country, please follow this one: Guiyang Qingyun Market!
On our first day in Guiyang, the ride-hailing driver recommended the local Qingyun Market to us. We didn't have high expectations for the night markets that every city seems to have, until the day we went there. Guiyang's Qingyun Street completely changed my perception of markets!
► Vibrant market
▪ It's hard to imagine that Qingyun Road, which started in 1927, was the starting point for night stall snacks for the needy 30 years ago, and now it has transformed into Guiyang's most lively food culture market
▪ We entered through the Qingyun Gate, which is composed of the old Guiyang's nine gates and four pavilions. Stepping through, it carries beautiful implications and good luck.
▪ Here, almost all of Guiyang's authentic snacks are gathered, and each store proudly displays its 'intangible cultural heritage' specialties: crispy pork, Dajia roast duck, Guiyang sour soup beef. And that's not all, further inside there's a whole floor of a food city, with various barbecues, fresh-squeezed juices, dazzling array of choices, and you simply can't finish trying them all!
For this reason, we came to Qingyun Market again the next day to try all the delicious food we wanted to taste!
▪ What impressed me the most were the cultural and handmade products within the market. The roadside stalls were neatly arranged with a fresh and simple decoration. The 'Exploring Guiyang Food Culture Project IP Concept Store' inside the market is a great experience. It combines Guiyang's food, tourism, and rural design concepts, integrating cultural elements into the products, creating cultural and creative products that are interactive, eye-catching, reputable, and popular. You simply can't stop exploring!
► There are band performances around 19:30 every day, and the interactive atmosphere on-site is also great!
Who wouldn't love such a rich and fun market?
► Visiting hours: After 19:00 in the evening
► Transportation: Take a taxi

Guizhou Tourism | Family, the night view of Guiyang is really breathtaking
If you come to Guiyang for a trip, you must spend an evening to appreciate the shock brought by the brilliance of this city after nightfall! It's not only full of the charm of ancient style but also the magnificent splendor of a bustling city, truly moved to tears by the night view of Guiyang!
-
✨Jiaxiu Tower——✨Qingyun Market——✨The White House
⛳Jiaxiu Tower
A landmark of Guiyang, it is recommended to arrive at 5:30 PM, so you can capture the sunset, and when it gets dark and the lights are on, 📸 snap away, the night view is really beautiful! It feels like traveling through ancient and modern times. The best photo spots are on both sides of the moat to capture people and Jiaxiu Tower, and on the rooftop of a four-story building across the road for a panoramic view.
.
⛳Qingyun Market
After Jiaxiu Tower, head to Qingyun Market, a trendy gathering place transformed from an old factory building. The style is somewhat like the cyberpunk style of Changsha's Big Food City Fortress, with many neon signs, quite magical! Inside, there are lots of snacks, hot pot restaurants, jewelry shops, bars where superheroes gather, and more...
.
⛳The White House
Locate to Huaguoyuan Wetland Park, get off the car and you can see the White House, walk into the square, and the best spot to shoot the White House is where many photographers set up their stalls~ Remember to turn on the fill light at night, the shot is very spectacular! It has a bit of the flavor of The Parisian Macao. The lights off time is around 10:30 PM.
Walking forward to the right, you will see Guiyang's Huaguoyuan Twin Towers, the 'I Love Guiyang' internet-famous towers.
Culinary Conquest
Guiyang Travel | The cyber market shocked me
How can there be a feeling of being in Tokyo, Bangkok, Seoul...?!
1️⃣ I originally thought it was just a food night market street, but the neon lights at night are even more captivating.
2️⃣ Neon signs are online, and the dazzling array of delicacies makes it hard to know where to start showing off.
3️⃣ I would like to call it the number one check-in spot in Guiyang, you don't have to eat anything, just strolling around is already an eye-opener.
4️⃣ Dessert tofu pudding, sour soup beef, grilled meat in a hot pot, wild vegetable snacks... I'm stuffed, but I'll come back next time.

New landmark of Qingyun Market~ Great for photo ops
This is probably a gathering place for Guiyang's special snacks~!!
A super large market where you can eat, drink, play and have all kinds of local special snacks, restaurants, jewelry stores, clothing stores. We walked a kilometer from Qingyun Market back to Zhengxin Street, and there is a sign saying 'I'm waiting for you in Guiyang', which is so romantic
