This city has a slow pace of life, friendly people, many electric scooters, and high cost-effectiveness. If you have enough time, Qingxiu Mountain is worth spending a whole day on. 2️⃣ Guangxi National Museum Free, reservation required. Located by the Yongjiang River, it is a specialized museum showcasing ethnic culture, featuring the traditional cultural characteristics of the 12 indigenous ethnic groups in Guangxi. It's worth a visit. 3️⃣ ASEAN Business District The famous Nanning staircase is here, and there are many restaurants nearby. It's perfect to have a meal here after shopping. 4️⃣ Yuanyang Building "Z"-shaped staircase, symmetrical old residential building, full of a sense of age and stories. However, it looks very dilapidated in reality. If you are not interested in taking photos, you can skip it. 5️⃣ Tangren Cultural Street Close to Yuanyang Building, this street is full of antiques, old toys, and cultural items. It's a treasure hunting paradise, perfect for those who love to shop for unique items. 6️⃣ Deng Yingchao Museum Free, reservation required. I learned from a play that she was the wife of Premier Zhou Enlai. Here, Deng Yingchao's story is vividly presented before my eyes. There is a special exhibition hall displaying letters between her and Zhou Enlai, which are incredibly sweet. The love between the Premier and his wife brought tears to my eyes. 7️⃣ Three Streets and Two Alleys This area has many Guangxi specialty snacks, similar to the must-visit streets in every city, perfect for a city walk. 7️⃣ Pavilion Wharf European-style castle, as if you were in Prague Square. Come here to catch a sunset and see the rose waterfall. 8️⃣ Yongjiang Night Cruise The lights of Changyou Pavilion reflect on the shimmering river. There are people singing by the river, and everyone sits on the steps, swaying to the rhythm, quietly listening or softly singing along. It's a very atmospheric night. 🏨 About Accommodation & Dining It is recommended to stay near Mixc Mall, which is convenient for transportation and dining. Nanning has a rich variety of local delicacies and many great restaurants, including various types of noodles. The cost-effectiveness is very high. Since we took the high-speed train from Chongzuo back to Nanning early in the morning, it was already 4 PM when we arrived in Nanning, leaving us with limited time to stay in Qingxiu Mountain Park. We decided to take the sightseeing bus and only photograph the upper part of the park. Our route started with getting off at Tianchi, where we took some photos of the lake and the surrounding scenery. Tianchi is a large artificial lake halfway up Qingxiu Mountain. The water glistens, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds, earning it the nickname 'Tower Reflection Tianchi.' Next, we walked to the symbol of Qingxiu Mountain - Longxiang Tower. The tower stands 52.35 meters high and 12 meters wide, with an internal spiral staircase of 207 steps leading to the top. It is the tallest tower in Guangxi. From the top, you can overlook the scenery of Yongjiang River and the new city of Langdong in Nanning. If you get hungry, you can visit nearby snack shops for a grilled sausage or corn, all freshly made and delicious. After visiting Longxiang Tower, we walked to Huanshan Xiuping, a large grassland where we could lie down and rest. This grassland covers nearly 100 acres, and lying on this green carpet-like field, you can feel a sense of relaxation and comfort, making it an excellent place to rest. Finally, we arrived at Guanyin Zen Temple. We didn't visit the temple itself but stayed here to photograph the sunset, evening glow, and night view. From 6 PM, we had our equipment set up, capturing the fiery sunset first, followed by the evening glow connecting the sky and earth, and finally, the starry night view, making for a spectacular conclusion. This skyline is undoubtedly one of the most impressive I've ever seen. Recommended Spots: Guanyin Zen Temple (night view, sunset, evening glow) Huanshan Xiuping Tianchi Longxiang Tower

1. Three Streets and Two Lanes, a historical and cultural district, is a must-visit for its lively atmosphere. You can also walk to a nearby high-rise and take an aerial shot from the rooftop, capturing the ancient buildings and the bridge in one view. 2. Qingxiu Mountain, with its charming botanical garden and the ancient and modern viewing platform, is a must-visit for cityscapes. 3. Jump into Nanhu Lake, where there are 3 branches of a bar, it is recommended to go to the largest and most popular Convention and Exhibition Store, a must-visit for nightlife. 4. Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum, which regularly hosts important and distinctive exhibitions, please pay attention in advance to grab tickets. This time I missed the national treasure exhibition and couldn't get close to the national treasure, the Ox Head, a must-visit for cultural tours. 5. Laoyou Rice Noodles, if you don't slurp noodles, don't bother coming, a must-visit for foodies. ps. For accommodation, it is not recommended to stay near Nanning East Station, just stay in the city center.

Attended a colleague's wedding, with tight schedule and heavy tasks, managed to visit several popular attractions in one day 1. Breakfast: Shu Ji Laoyou Rice Noodles (Guiya Branch), the closest Shu Ji to the north gate of Qingxiu Mountain. After eating, walked to the north gate. Originally planned to play for two hours, but there were too many fun attractions in the scenic area, ended up playing for four hours; 2. After exiting the north gate, took a taxi to the ASEAN Sheng Tian Di famous staircase, near Starbucks there is an elevator going down, ordered online from Grandma's Handmade (Wanxiang City Branch), walked to Ganjiajie Lemon Duck (Chunhui Branch), quite delicious and cost-effective, went to pick up tea after eating; 3. Fairy tale land theme park of beautiful, magnificent and huge area named Qing Xiu Mountain Forest Park which is located in wonderful Nanning city, brilliant Guangxi province. This is the small area so much loved by children. I would like to emphasize that this area and all its installations has no direct relationship with some movie or book story, but in some cases there could be found similarities with famous masterpieces inspired the creators. 青秀山 aka Qing Xiu Mountain. Nanning city, Guangxi province. In fact this is the big area which comprises several hills and different gardens and primary rainforest, where you can find monuments, temples, small museums and a lot of special stuff, nature stuff. This is exactly what Guangxi treasure is! Qing Xiu Mountain has a right to be named Nanning number one scenic spot or area of tourist attractions. It is pretty easy to get there by public transportation. Do not think it gonna be quick. I have spent there seven hours without taking a break. I visited the east gate of Qingxiu Mountain today and found it decorated with colorful lanterns. These lanterns are mainly large lamps, estimated to be 5 to 10 meters high. Some are placed on the roadside, some in the pond, and some are hung above the road. Although I visited during the day, I can imagine how colorful it would be at night when the lights are on. The Spring Festival Lantern Show is a very old traditional custom in China. Generally, from the Spring Festival to the Lantern Festival every year, local governments will hold Spring Festival Lantern Shows to let the public enjoy the lights during the festival. Nanning is no exception. The Spring Festival Lantern Show in Nanning is mainly held in the east gate area of Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area. The Qingxiu Mountain Spring Festival Lantern Show is held from January 18 to March 9, and the lights are on from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm every night. The discounted ticket for the lantern show is CNY 28, which is CNY 8 more than the regular ticket. If visitors enter from the west gate (the traditional main gate) or the north gate of the scenic area and want to see the lantern show, they can take the scenic train to get there.
