Qingxi Country Park is located in the southwest of Qingpu District, with Shanjing Port and Planning Road in the east, Lianxi Highway in the west, Nanheng Port in the south, and Dianshan Lake in the north. The total planned area is about 22.35 square kilometers. The park opened for operation in October 2016. The park is open to the public free of charge. Among them, the conservation area is free of charge but not free, and you can get tickets on-site to enter. Qingxi Country Park is the only country park in Shanghai featuring wetlands, and its particularly diverse aquatic species can be called Shanghai's natural native aquatic species gene pool. The park is rich in species resources, with lakes, beaches, waves and islands criss-crossed, and wetlands, lakes, rivers and forests form a diverse ecosystem. Featuring wetlands, it has three major functional areas, with Dalian Lake as the center. There are water town farmland demonstration area, ecological conservation area and fishing village leisure experience area. There are still natural villages in the park. There is a lotus island. The water forest is unique to Shanghai and is known as the wonder of Chishan. At present, there are 185 known species of birds, including the national first-class protected animal - Chinese merganser duck; there are 39 national second-class protected animals, such as blue jadeite and black-eared kite. The water forest and the numerous waterfowl also form a scenic spot in Qingxi Country Park - Cedar Forest Heron Shadow.
