You're not promoting Qingxi Country Park? You're really confused!
This time, I went to try out a homestay in Caibang Village, Qingpu, and incidentally checked in at Shanghai's only country park characterized by wetlands - Qingxi Country Park. Here, you will encounter a rich variety of aquatic plants, migratory birds that dwell here, and enchanting natural landscapes. The park has it all: wetlands, lakes, forests, rivers, and a wealth of species resources. The water forest here can be said to be a unique feature of the park.
We parked our car near the village committee of Lianhu Village, at the entrance of the Lotus on the Lake Restaurant, and then started our hike around the Great Lotus Lake.
Our hiking route: Lianhu Village → Lianxin Island → Wetland Lotus Pond → Great Lotus Lake Service Station → Lakeside Trail → Shuiyang Wetland → Qingyun Wild Path → Ecological Conservation Area Entrance → Fir and Egret Shadows → Peach Blossom Crossing → Water Forest → Ecological Conservation Area Exit → Yongjing Hermitage → Lakeside Trail → Lianhu Village,
Upon entering the park, the first thing you feel is the tranquility and harmony. The air is fresh, the environment is serene, as if it's a green world isolated from the rest of society. The park's wetland landscape is quite unique, with a variety of aquatic plants thriving, adding a mysterious color to the park.
Walking along the park's paths, birds occasionally fly overhead, singing cheerfully on the branches as if welcoming our arrival. Deeper in the park, I also saw swathes of reed beds, swaying gently in the breeze, looking very graceful.
My favorite is still the very famous water forest of Qingxi Country Park. The straight trunks stand in the water, surrounded by greenery and incessant bird calls, as if in a paradise.
Tips:
1,
🎫Ticket: Free, round-trip sightseeing car 30/person,
2,
🕙Opening hours: 8:30-16:30 (entry stops at 16:00),
3, In-park transportation:
The park is very large, and those who don't like walking can take the sightseeing car. It's about 2 to 3 kilometers from the main entrance to the water forest, and the last bus back to the park's main entrance from the water forest is at 16:30. However, we walked the whole way, covering about ten kilometers back and forth,
4,
🚗How to get there:
It is recommended to drive yourself, or take the subway Line 17 to Zhujiajiao Station, then take a taxi to the park's main entrance. The park has a total of 5 parking lots from P1 to P5. If you want to take the sightseeing car, you still need to park. Since there were not many people when we went, we parked near the village committee of Lianhu Village, at the entrance of the Lotus on the Lake Restaurant, and had our lunch there,
5, Remember to wear a pair of comfortable shoes, the park is very large, and without a pair of comfortable shoes, it might be too much to handle.
