[2025 Shanghai Hotels] Travel Guide for Pullman Shanghai Qingpu Excellence (Updated Aug)

Got bored staying in downtown Shanghai, so came to Greater Qingpu for a few days✌🏿 Chose to stay at "Pullman Shanghai Excellence Hotel"🏨 The environment is amazing!!! The nearby shopping malls are complete, and there’s a large park for walking & fishing🎣 Hahaha highly recommend everyone to come here for a short break!!! Few people, great environment!!! Not crowded and not noisy😌 The hotel’s third floor also has a gym & swimming pool free to use!!! - You can call a car to nearby places like Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, Panlong Tiandi, Oriental Land, Hemu Village, Grand View Garden, Qingxi Country Park, and Dianshan Lake✅ Perfect for family trips or dating🤣 If you want to check in at all these spots, staying 2 nights probably won’t be enough‼️ Shopaholics can head straight to the nearby outlet🛍️ - There’s a steakhouse on the hotel’s first floor🥩 Quite classy, the dry-aged steaks are pretty good😌 At night, there’s live performances🎶 full of atmosphere🍻 Great for taking photos, checking in, and dating all at once hahaha!!! I don’t think any girl can resist a romantic Western restaurant😋 I also highly recommend their caramel pudding😍 - The experience at Pullman Excellence Hotel was great💯 Will definitely come back to check in next holiday hahaha! Even after two days in Greater Qingpu, haven’t explored everything yet, leaving some little regrets🤣

Where to go for a weekend date in Shanghai? 🤣 If you’re tired of the usual city spots, I highly recommend choosing Qingpu District for a stroll✅ Fewer people, great environment, and cheaper than downtown—actually a pretty good place for a date🛍️ For the lazy ones, just stay at the "Pullman Shanghai Excellence Hotel"🏨 The mall and supermarket next to the hotel have everything you need, plus there’s a park for walking, lake viewing, and fishing🎣 Of course, you can also just chill at the hotel, swim or work out (on the third floor), and enjoy a romantic Western dinner at the steakhouse on the first floor at night🍴 Honestly, the steakhouse at Pullman is really good👌🏿 Both the presentation and taste are on point, with a variety of dry-aged steaks to choose from🥩😍 At night, there’s even a live singer performance🎶 Grab a cold beer, sit back for a couple of hours, and truly relax❤️ It takes about 20-30 minutes by car to get from the hotel to nearby attractions or open-air malls, and calling a ride is very convenient✅ If the weather isn’t too hot, you can walk 2 km to Caoying Road Metro Station🚉 Recommended check-in spots: Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, Oriental Land, Outlets, Panlong Tiandi🛍️ This area is within a half-hour drive from Hongqiao Airport and the high-speed rail station🚘 If it’s not your first time in Shanghai, I highly recommend staying in the suburbs to experience a different side of Shanghai’s charm❤️

On the first floor, there’s a 【Qinghui Seafood & Steakhouse🥩】 that’s delicious 😋 and the environment is very elegant 🍴 - Nearby (Qingpu) tourist spots to check out: 1️⃣ Zhujiajiao Ancient Town & Oriental Land (10km · 20 minutes by taxi) 2️⃣ Outlet Shopping Center (13km · 20 minutes by taxi) 3️⃣ National Exhibition and Convention Center (20km · 25 minutes by taxi) 4️⃣ Panlong Tiandi (17km · 25 minutes by taxi) — an open large shopping area with an antique vibe, perfect for photos! You can even bring traditional Hanfu costumes for photo ops! Ps: The hotel is 22km from Hongqiao Airport/High-Speed Rail Station, about 25-30 minutes by taxi. There’s a subway station “Caoying Road” just 2km away. Plus, there’s a free shuttle bus to the Huawei Lianqiuhu R&D Center—ideal for business travelers 🚘 - The rooms are very comfortable to stay in 😌 Equipped with a coffee machine, and on the third floor, there’s a gym & pool free to use 🏊 The buffet breakfast is rich with fresh fruit, local Shanghai specialty mixed noodles & potstickers, plus various Western pastries 🥐 At night, you can take a walk around the hotel area; there’s a large park surrounding a lake where you can enjoy the evening breeze. The mall and supermarket are well-equipped, so if you don’t want to eat at the hotel, it’s very convenient to find food and drinks nearby 🥢 But I truly recommend the steakhouse on the first floor 🥩 The prices are much more affordable than downtown Shanghai, and the quality is top-notch 💯 There’s even a live singer at night, creating a great atmosphere for drinks 🍻 From my personal dining experience, I highly recommend these dishes: Spanish garlic butter shrimp, main course platter with M5 steak & crispy roast spring chicken & Turing sausage 😋 The caramel pudding is sweet but not greasy!!! That’s rare!!! I usually don’t like pudding desserts, but I finished this one!!!

🛏️This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! The room facilities are complete, especially the super comfortable bed and pillows, which made me sleep so soundly. 🍽️The top-notch restaurant offers a variety of delicious meals, and I also tried local specialties here. The service in the restaurant is also very good, making people feel particularly kind. 🏊‍♀️There is also a beautiful swimming pool and garden here, I go to enjoy the fresh air and relaxing feeling every day. 🎉Whether it's private travel or business trips, I highly recommend Pullman Shanghai Jing An Hotel!

This Pullman hotel is probably the most cost-effective in Shanghai. Although it is located in a remote area, it is quite suitable for leisure and vacation in the city. The transportation is relatively convenient and it can be reached by Metro Line 17. The hardware is slightly average. The room design is relatively moderate and simple, but the basic facilities are relatively complete. The bathroom has a dry and wet separation and is equipped with a jacuzzi. The room has a desk and a small sofa, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows provide good lighting. There is a buffet restaurant on the first floor, a swimming pool on the third floor, and a standard gym, but the area is small, so it can be a bit crowded if there are many people. A buffet breakfast is provided with a wide variety of dishes, including Chinese noodles, wontons, pan-fried dumplings, Western cakes, yogurt, and coffee drinks.
