Port Douglas Agincourt Reef.
If this is your first time to this World Heritage-listed wonder, we recommend you put your family in the hands of the Great Barrier Reef adventure experts, Quicksilver Cruises, for a day on the Great Barrier Reef. Your journey begins in Port Douglas where you will board a wave-piercing catamaran for a 90-minute, 72-kilometre cruise across the tropical holiday paradise to the outer edge of the Australian continental shelf.
Your destination is Agincourt Reef, one of the outer reef systems closest to Port Douglas and the furthest reef system that can be reached in a day. Like all good short trips, the journey is part of the adventure. As you wave goodbye to the mainland, the towering mountains and the steep drop into the Coral Sea will unfold before your eyes. You will also pass the magical place where the rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef, Cape Tribulation, on your way to Agincourt Reef.

Port Douglas 🌴
Port Douglas is a chic, yet relaxed seaside village, perfect for couples, families and solo travellers alike, with a range of accommodation options to suit all budgets, a plethora of restaurants and bars, not to mention fantastic boutique shopping. The village is also the ideal base to explore the World Heritage-Listed Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation with an abundance of tours and day trips available.
Disconnect from the digital world entirely and spend a few nights in the World’s oldest living rainforest, the Daintree, and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature.

Where does the Rainforest meet the Reef?
Wow, Port Douglas feels like living in dream! This dreamy town really surprised me by it’s beauty. This town is all about relaxation, really tropical yet casual.
Whether you’re looking for adventure or looking to chill out on the beach this seaside town has something for everyone!
I only stayed here for 1 night as my trip didn’t allow to extend at the time but I so wished I had been able to stay here for a few weeks.
Four mile beach was my favorite - but not because of what you may think. We found a dog rescue centre where you can help take the dogs for a walk and give them some love. (Really dog is a man’s best friend) It was so great to be able to do something so small that I really enjoyed!
The beach isn’t heavily sandy, so it’s great for jogging - and the sea breeze was just perfect!
Next time I go to Australia, I will be back to Port Douglas for sure!
📍Rent a car from Brisbane or other city and drive at your own pace to North Queensland. (Or you can hop on / off the Backpackers bus)
💰Port Douglas was a little more pricey than some other seaside towns, but 100% worth the price!
Take me back!

To find the purer waters of the Great Barrier Reef, from Cairns all the way north, 70 kilometers away, Port Douglas Port Douglas sailed. In the northern outer Great Barrier Reef, I met Agincourt Reef, Akincourt Outer Reef.
In another blue dream of forgetting to breathe,

Port Dougl
Port Douglas is such a magical place: along the Captain Cooks road, all the way to the end of the rainforest, and the vast expanse of the wilderness, plus a little sea blue embellishment, all kinds of wonders gather here. A picturesque place.
Because the scenery here is beautiful and beautiful, it has attracted many celebrities to come and find out, and has attracted many visionary investment developers to carry forward the natural characteristics here. Whether it's a golf course, a rainforest nature reserve, a pier filled with luxury cruises or a street full of high-end restaurants, the natural and modern interlaced views are confusing.

Diving at port Douglas
#australiatrip Port Douglas, located in Queensland, Australia, is a premier destination for diving enthusiasts. It's a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the world's most famous diving spots. Divers can explore vibrant coral reefs, diverse marine life, and clear waters. Popular dive sites include the Agincourt Reef, known for its stunning coral formations and abundant fish species, and the Ribbon Reefs, famous for its marine biodiversity and opportunities for spotting rare species. Local dive operators offer various experiences, from introductory dives for beginners to advanced dives for experienced divers, ensuring an unforgettable underwater adventure.
When encountering a small and full of surprises, the recommendation is always full of complex moods, both to let more people understand and do not want to destroy the local tranquility. Leaving the port Douglass, I realized that only the leaves of this place are green, and each tree is accumulated for hundreds of years. The history of the daintree rainforest is more than Amazon. In the wildlife park, the single-digit visitors, the hordes of kangaroos swaying around you, as if reminding you that they are the masters here.

The small
The small town of Port Douglas, although the Chinese did not visit a lot, but the Australian locals are quite popular in this area. At the end of the day, we will all stroll around the pier in the city. There are rows of gourmet restaurants, large lawns for leisure, and locals in twos and threes fishing on the floating platform. Although it is a small city with tourism as its economic support, it can also experience pure life in the details.
Sitting on the leisure bench at the water's edge, watching a beautiful sunset from start to finish is a very happy thing. In general, this trip is quite tight, and under this fast-paced travel, there are also fascinating moments.

From Cairn
From Cairns to the north, it is a rare wilderness view in Australia. Keynes has such charm and ability - it is the focus of the transformation of Australia's landforms, where you can find magical views that combine a variety of landscapes.

The second
The second time I boarded the territory of Australia, this time I took a direct flight from Guangzhou to Guangzhou, Cairns, and I could reach the southern hemisphere in just seven and a half hours. Although it is winter in the southern hemisphere, the comfortable climate here is a good place to take a summer vacation.
Because of the dive site to go to the Barrier Reef from Port Douglas tomorrow, I chose this QT port Douglas hotel near Port Douglas. It is really witnessing the legend of Tuao, not in front of the village, not in the store, and took an hour to find the supermarket in the evening to solve the problem of food and clothing. So come to Australia, or choose to drive by yourself, it is really a sparsely populated place.
