It's recommended to arrive at Tangshan Station, as Tangshan North Station and Tangshan West Station are farther from downtown. 🏩Accommodation Recommendations: Near Nanhu Scenic Area or Hetou Old Street. ❤️Attraction Recommendations: 📍1. Hetou Old Street Ticket: ¥58 on weekdays, ¥78 on weekends Highlights: Stunning night views, Tang-style architecture, live performances like traditional operas. Free ginger tea and red date tea provided. Perfect for ancient-style photography with multiple Hanfu rental shops. 📍2. Nanhu Scenic Area Free admission, transformed from a coal mining subsidence area. Features include Longshan Hill, Phoenix Terrace, Peach Blossom Pond, etc. Recommended to take the sightseeing tram (¥30 per loop with 4 stops). 📍3. Shadow Puppet Theme Park Free entry (some activities charge fees). Family-friendly with unique projects like rotating shadow puppets and Black Forest. 📍4. Outdoor memorial wall with victims' names and quake ruins - remaining machine workshop structures and twisted rails are profoundly moving! Museum showcases earthquake history and Tangshan's reconstruction. What a heroic city! 3️⃣Shadow Puppet Theme Park (Must for kids!) Free, requires reservation. Numerous children's play facilities. Kids rode the Dragon Train, shadow puppet carousel, operated mini excavators, and laughed at funhouse mirrors - didn't want to leave! 4️⃣Nanhu Park. Free admission Vast lake area formed from post-quake subsidence, shimmering waters with panoramic views. International Garden section is most photogenic📷 - especially Hungary and Italy gardens. Tangshan - a heroic city rich in shadow puppetry, Pingju opera, and Leting drum culture, embodying modern industrial history. 🌈Attraction Features: This is the Shadow Play Park in Tangshan Nanhu. It's surprisingly free here. Most of the amusement facilities inside are free. This is really the first time I've taken my child to a free amusement park. There are many projects, and the children are very happy. 🕐️Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30-17:00, all year round 🏝️Route Recommendation: After scanning the code to enter, it is recommended to turn right at the entrance. Since the weather is hot now, it is recommended to play indoors first. Apart from the movie experience, which requires payment, all other activities are free. When you go to the top floor, you will see a yellow slide. Since it is made of metal, touch it with your hand to check the temperature before sliding. If the temperature is high that day, it will be very hot. After coming out from here, it is recommended to go forward along the go-kart area to the children's favorite climbing amusement facility, where they can play for a long time. The go-karts here are charged by the minute, about thirty yuan for five minutes. The park also has paid self-driving sightseeing cars, but it is not recommended. Walking around is also nice as the scenery is beautiful. If it is not too hot after coming out from the climbing area, you can go to the trampoline-like area at the back to play. It feels like bouncing on jelly, and children love it. You can easily spend a whole day here. The environment is good and it's free. 💗Other Tips: If you come in summer, bring a sunshade umbrella and plenty of water. Children will sweat a lot while playing, so replenish water in time. You can also bring some snacks. Accommodation⭐: We stayed at the Tangshan Nanhu Football Theme Hotel opposite, which is very convenient. The hotel we booked was also quite affordable, with a nice environment, suitable for taking children.
